Loving' that BBQ!

Real BBQ and sweet tea! They could tell we weren't locals. The staff was wonderful. You have to try the round fritters that look like onion rings and ask for extra sweet sauce for your sandwich.

We were staying in Archdale NC and wanted dinner nearby. BBQ Joes was recommended and we love BBQ. We called ahead saying that we had a group of 11 and they said OK. When we got there 15 minutes later there were no tables at all that were open, let alone for 11. They may have great food but we... More

I lived in Lexington, NC for 50 years and it had the best BBQ (in my opinion). That is until BBQ Joes came to where I live now in Trinity NC. The taste of the dip is what I believe sits it apart from all the others. You are actually served what you pay for, by that I mean the... More

BBQ Joe's is THE best BBQ in High Point. Joe and his crew run a great establishment and are some of the friendliest in the business. The chopped BBQ is my personal favorite when combined with the Joes sauce. You could put Joe's sauce on an old tire and it would taste great. Breakfast is great as well and the... More

I recently ordered food for a group from BBQ Joe's. We had BBQ pork, chicken, baked beans, green beans, red & white slaw, hushpuppies, peach cobbler, banana pudding and tea. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. The hushpuppies and banana pudding were the biggest hits. Chicken was favorite also. Very tender & juicy. All dishes were very tasty!!

We usually just get the reasonably priced barbeque for 4 and take it home. This makes three or four meals for my husband and I. It freezes well so you can have as you wish. There are 3 different sauces: Joe's Sauce, Down East and I forget the name of the other. But this is my husbands favorite barbeque. The... More

I had a hankering for Q and we stopped in on a trip passing through High Point. We were greeted and seated by friendly staff, who also provided recommendations for ordering. The place was filled with locals, which was a good sign. It’s an informal restaurant, the plates and silverware were disposable. The food didn’t take long to come out... More

My wife and I are staying in Greensboro, NC for a couple days. While here we thought we could check out some of the local eateries instead of chains, etc. Considering how both of our stomachs felt the rest of the afternoon following lunch at BBQ Joe's, I wish we *had* gone with a food chain restaurant! I had the... More

Husband had barbecue, turnip greens, and mashed potatoes, I had the daily special of beef tips over rice with sweet potato casserole. Everything was excellent, including the strawberry cobbler and banana pudding that we took home because we were too full to eat it there. Services was great, portions were large, and prices were moderate. What more could you ask... More

The absolute best barbecue I've had in the Triad area. I live in Greensboro and it's well worth the short trip down to High Point for this barbecue. I ordered the pulled pork plate with 2 sides and the most amazing hush puppies you will ever eat! The BBQ sauce is fantastic.
