Can't resist their food!

Everything I've tired here is amazing. I find it tough not to way over order (and eat!) when I walk in because I know just how good their food is. Every time I'm back in high point this is the first place I make sure to eat!

The food is good. I had hush puppies chopped barbeque pork and chili fries. The place was crowded and we were seated at a terrible table. The atmosphere is kinda like a small cafeteria but with a waitress. The wait staff was nice though. I would have enjoyed my meal a little more if we hadn't been seated at a... More

The breakfast was very average. I ordered an egg plate with bacon and gravy with a biscuit and coffee. The meal was just OK. There wasn't much bacon and the gravy came from a packet. You'd think a restaurant cooking breakfast food would use some of the bacon dripping to make some decent gravy. I guess it is a sign... More

I go here quite often for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The service is great. The prices are comparable to other similar places and the food is better than their competition. I've been to several events catered by Joe and he gets repeat business because he's good at what he does.

When in North Carolina, it's required to try the Carolina BBQ. BBQ Joe's was excellent example of Carolina BBQ. Food was good, service even better, and the place was full of locals!

Out of town guests drooling for some pit cooked local BBQ. Got the take out for 6 which was enough for 10 people with red slaw, Joe's sauce and hush puppies that looked like small doughnuts and maybe tasted better. Enough food that guests have gone and I am still enjoying BBQ sandwiches. Mouth watering if you are a down... More

My son and I ate here recently. I had chopped pork, okra and green beans. Son had brisket sandwich and mashed potatoes. We shared hush puppies. All we very good and service was pleasant and attentive. Would recommend.

If you are looking for great North Carolina BBQ you will find it here. I had pulled pork, pintos with onions and his puppies. I rate the meal 5 out of 5. Would eat here again if I am in the area. I found the doughnut shaped hush puppies delicious.

I had the meatloaf special, it was just like mom used to make! not the place to go if you are on a diet and counting calories. Great hush puppies. They piled a lot of food on your plate. food was excellent!
