Food is ok... Carter Brothers is Way Better

Thought I would give Country BBQ a try for breakfast and was disappointed in the food. I got scrambled eggs, tenderloin and biscuits and gravy. The eggs weren't really scrambled, the biscuit didn't taste home made. Staff was very friendly however Carter Brothers is just down the street and the... read more

Found this place from hotel desk attendant. Good BBQ. I hate to say great, only because I'm used to more southern style. But it was good. Tender. And fresh. Sides were good. Definitely fill you up. Carry out. So not sure about atmosphere inside.

I am not a BBQ fan but this is where we ended up for lunch since everyone in my group wanted BBQ, when in Rome.... The place is clean, open and not run down. Seating is pretty much as you want. The waitress was friendly and was there right away. This is a pretty informal place. We ordered our meals... More

Well the service was good as was the iced tea. We had the bbq plate and sandwich and both were ok but not stellar. Cole slaw very sweet, crinkle fries like they sell at Safeway. Bow sauce a bit on the sweet side but good mixed with Texas pete. Just had really great bbq yesterday elsewhere so this was a... More

Food was bland and lukewarm. Service was decent and restaurant clean. Few people eating there and parking lot mostly empty. I would not return there appear better establishments nearby.

We have been here MANY times. Their bbq is great! Cole slaw, hush puppies, cheerwine with the tiny ice bits all so yummy. My kid lives their grilled cheese. Also, finish your meal with the peach cobbler! So yummy. Service has always been fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable and the location is large, new and clean.

They have the best Tenderloin Biscuits, the BBQ is good too. We have to have one at least once a week. We moved away for awhile and it was the first place we hit when moving back to the area.

My wife and I decided to walk to this restaurant after the staff at our hotel recommended it highly. Their BBQ sauce was a bit too hot and heavy with vinegar for my wife's taste. I sampled the sauce and found it quite tasty. However, after checking the menu I decided to try the Country Fried Tenderloin with gravy. It... More

First time here. Was looking for BBQ and looked nice but when i walked in found out it was fast food style. But Wait... They asked if i wanted to sit or take out. They sat us at a nice booth and took our order. I ordered the rack of ribs and it was excellent. The waitress was super friendly... More
