Nice place - large - can get table service or go through the buffet. I expected a tangy BBQ and it was pretty mild but the slaw was really good mixed in with the BBQ.

As a N.C. native, I've had all types of NC BBQ, from down east in Smithfield to western and Lexington. Country BBQ does a good job and offers chopped, large chopped and sliced pork BBQ. Accompanying the BBQ are some good hushpuppies that came to the table piping hot. Cole slaw, a southern staple was also on the table. The... More

If you like a good Carolina vinegar-based BBQ, here is where u want to go. Sides are lackluster, but the meat is great!! Also, if you still have room, try out the peach cobbler!

Ordered BBQ to go for a large group. chopped pork was average, BBQ slaw was bland, BBQ beans were loaded with jalapenos, but still managed to be not very spicy. Hush puppies were small, but very tasty. The vinegar "dip" was tasty, but my favorite is the BBQ sauce they keep on the counter in little cups. Soooo spicy and... More

VINEGAR STYLE SAUCE OR PLAIN, THE PORK RIBS AND SHREDDED MEAT are excellent. Loved, loved the bite size hush puppies. Home made desserts, open for B, L, and D. Friendly and efficient service. BARBEQUE take out available by the pound.

Convenient place for lunch, easy to get in and out. There are other BBQ places that give you more for the money. Just ok nothing special.

I usually only eat BBQ at non chain restaurants. So, I was under the impression that was the case here. Sadly mistaken. Pulled pork was decent. Hush puppies were the size of popcorn and over cooked. This was the first time in my life that I had ribs and could not eat them. 60% fat and under cooked. Simply horrible.... More

I thought it was only the woman that works at the window that was rude... the middle-aged one with the strawberry blonde hair. Then I went inside and noticed the same rudeness from others. That behavior starts at the top. The owners need some assistance from one of those makeover shows that focus on improving customer service.
