Visited during Queens Feast. Excellent in every way! Service, food, atmosphere...top notch! Kristen (server) was so friendly. Food..the best Caesar salad. Definitely worth the hour drive.

We discovered Youssef's 242 several years ago. Our experience at Youssef's has been consistently satisfying. Lunch and dinner both offer a fine selection of tasty foods. As a vegetarian, I always appreciate a restaurant that offers several good vegetarian choices. My husband enjoys the meat selections. We often take friends to eat there.

We are fortunate as our profession lends itself to dinner meetings. As such, we have dined all over the area, Statesville, Mooresville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Durham, etc, etc. Other than a few dinners (not all of them) in Charlotte's McNinch House (at more than 2x's the price) we have never had such a fine and complete dining experience. From the service... More

We made reservations for 5 for my son's birthday. We were all pleased with our dinner and drink selections. Our waitress had a great personality and did a great job. We will return!

I admit I was hesitant because I like low key. I was surprised this place had an amazing comfy feel, yet very elegant! The food was great! I had the blackened strip with horseradish onion straws and cheddar mashed potatoes. Everything was yummy. Out of a party of 16 we were told they tend to overcook meat, so we ordered... More

Overpriced! The food was mediocre and service was very limited. For an upscale restaurant they should be able to find something besides seasoned french fries to accompany the crab cake with fried green tomato and shredded vegetables. The shredded vegetables overwhelmed the crab cake and friend green tomato. The crabcake was very good with not a lot of filler. Didn't... More

I''m a foodie and have traveled a great deal through my career and personal life. As such, I've frequented many great restaurants. I'll put Youssef's (as we call it locally), up against any I've ever been to. Complementing the great food (everything on the menu is superb), the service is second to none. Arriving on this cold fall day, we had high expectations. The restaurant is easy to locate with plenty of parking and has a nice vibe inside. This attempt at fine dining falls short when the food arrives. We started with the hummus appetizer (order the small order as is plenty) which was nicely flavored with pesto, grilled pita and a... We were here for the golf tournament and wanted a great meal and we found it. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The fig and jalapeno jelly with cornbread was amazing. The seafood entree was perfectly cooked. We split the entree, did not ask for a split but they did and without charge. Deserts were awesome. The front of... More

Nice atmosphere but not so good service, seems short staffed and snobbish, won't return. The food is just ok nothing to demand the prices. Gave gone several times byt their attitudes don't except new customers well, too good old boys for me.
