We went for the Veterans day lunch. They had a separate menu for the free meal with many good selections. The food was good and plentiful and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Dahlia took very good care of us, keeping our drinks full and making sure everything was OK.

I usually end up at texas road house when i arrive in hickory after the long trip. The atmosphere keep me awake ( not romantic as other writer said indeed) and the rib eye is always very good. Turned out 20oz is big! I will go again.

Ate supper on the night of Sept30, 2014 while attending a Law Enforcement school in the area. Waitress (Ash M) was a great server. She had a great attitude, personality and a smile each time she came to the table. Also the ladies at the door was very sweet as well. Great customer service and good food. Thank You

I am one of the pickiest eaters on the planet, and I do not eat steak often....but this location of Texas Roadhouse has got the best beef I have seen in a commercial establishment! I have tried to find some fat on my filet, and have not (my husband will tell you what a miracle that is). It is cooked... More

6 of us decided to head to the Roadhouse on a Friday night around 6:30 since it was close to where we were staying. We had all eaten at various other Roadhouse locations around the South/Southeast so we knew what to expect, or so we thought. There was a line when we got there but, we got in after about... More

The ribs were rather dry but tasty, They should offer extra sauce on the side. My husband asked for plastic utensils for our carry out but neglected to check and see if he got it. Luckily we had a spoon with us so we had to share a spoon to eat our salads!! No excuse for this since he asked... More

You can go 'Outback' all you want. If you want a handcut steak without chop house pricing the TRH is the place to go. The fresh baked on premise rolls are and crisp salad are consistently good. The scoffers would be those of you who have a problem with the country music and southern hospitality. Well you ain't in New... More

We stopped in for dinner and we didn't wait. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was a little disappointed with the rolls. They had changed them from the way they have been for many years. They are more like a tale and pull poll than a fluffy yeast roll. That was my only let down so we'll be... More

We ate here during a brief stay in Hickory. My meal was good however my husband thought his steak tasted odd. We assumed that it might have been that the seasoning was just not what he liked however the Manager (a very professional, compassionate, and polite young man) came over and spoke with us and showed a genuine concern about...
