This place doesn't look like much from the outside but wait until you taste the food. The sandwiches are die for and the sides that come with it are heavenly. I highly recommend eating here. Over and over again.

My mouth waters as I write this review. Let's put it this way, it was worth a detour off 321N for a Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese and Avocado sandwich today! Delicious.

We were driving across the state and wanted to grab some lunch. We saw the reviews and gave it a try. Quite good. Not fancy. Order extra meat on the sandwich, but they are so affordable that this isn't a problem. The people are very friendly. The lunch salad was great! Salad greens, thin pieces of granny Smith green apples,... More

Located in downtown Hickory wanted to try based on TA reviews. But sadly, they were not open on Saturday -- must only have M-F hours.

I have lived in Hickory for about 5 years. I know Hatch is fairly new but I literally hadn't heard of this place until I read about it on Trip Advisor. Considering the high rating and the awesome reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I ate here on a Tuesday afternoon with my parents for my birthday... More

Good variety of sandwiches, the winner is: pork belly BLT! The people are very friendly and they prepare the sandwich very fast.

My wife and I tried Hatch during peak lunch hours, and it was very busy. The sandwiches were fantastic and unique. The Reuben was great, and my wife's grilled cheese with bacon and avocado was awesome! The seating situation was miserable, and the tap water is lukewarm. I guess that way you're encouraged to pay for a drink. I would... More

Tasty, wholesome and fresh sandwiches. A wonderful experience. Pulled pork was to die for (I almost did since I ate it so quickly). Served with fresh cilantro and carrot. They also have a frequent buyer card so your tenth sandwich will be free.....

Been twice and sampled 4 different sandwiches including pimento cheese with pork, turkey reuben and two more. All delicious. They stock Pisgah Pale Ale too! Personal service without too much. All around pleasant experience.
