Tried West First wnen we visited Hendersonville in July and thought it was great. It was on our things to do when we returned in Oct. Always great food.

I am not a fan of thin crust pizza and I have had it at several different pizzerias in my area of Hendersonville, NC. However, I ordered a 12" Margherita Pizza to share with co-workers at lunch one day and discovered an excellent pizza from West First. I walked over to pick it up and it was ready as was... More

West First is a consistent restaurant that features daily specials, amazing wood-fire pizzas and a kitchen that knows how to create and prepare wholesome, tasty meals that make you happy. Their menu changes a few times during the year, I'm assuming to follow the availability of local, fresh ingredients and to acknowledge some meals just fit winter or summer better.... More

This is now my absolute favorite restaurant. There are two things I order every time I visit: homemade gnocchi and pizza. The gnocchi is made in-house, just like all of their pastas, and is perfect. Better than any I've had in Italy. Topping it with their homemade pesto or marinara is delicious and filling. Their pizzas are wood-fired and out... More

We were visiting the area for the weekend and our hosts suggested this place and I'm so glad they did. We sat at the bar and had one of their wonderful pizza's, it was just perfect. The atmosphere was great. We enjoyed the cool decor and watching the staff in the kitchen. I will be back for sure.

We had a great meal with different pizzas, appetizers, pastas, and beers. They even gave us a free small pizza because they accidentally dropped a slice on the floor!!

We sat outside on the patio as it was a comfortable cool evening. Salads - caesar and house were delicious as were our main courses of pasta and meatballs and a veggie pizza. *This place uses a lot of garlic....in a good way!

Great atmosphere...enjoyed watching kitchen staff prepare food and the wood fired pizza oven. Modern decor and open floor plan. Wish I had chosen a different dish---learned Im not a fan of Saffron. None the less, I will go back again and try something different. Its worth it.

Nice location and seating choices. Back porch when weather is compliant, upstairs except when weather is cold and main room. Busy at prime time so you take the first table. Hostesses seem not to care about you or wait times but the service is very good and wait time is minimal.

We met professional photographer Dave Allen and his wife for dinner at West First in Hendersonville last week, and had another delicious meal. We all got something different and no one was disappointed... in fact we were all VERY pleased. Some of the best food (and pizza) in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
