We had gone to the Black Rose Pub a few months ago and thought it was good, so went back. It was very crowded and we were seated next to the kitchen. I couldn't help but see that none of the kitchen staff were wearing gloves and were handling food and spices and using their bare hands for everything. Although... More

We had burgers for lunch that were excellent. They were made with good quality beef and cooked to perfection. I ordered mine medium well and it was still not dry. My partner's medium rare was perfect. Definitely recommend.

Great little bar with excellent burgers and beer selection. It has a cozy atmosphere, great place to meet a friend or even have a casual date night. Walk around downtown from here easily.

I love visiting the Black Rose. The service is fast and the food is great. If it's wings you want the Rose has the best in town by far. The Rose is an excellent stop with family or friends. A very nice selection of taps compliments the bar and there is excellent outdoor seating as well. The rose is a... More

Two Irish style pubs a block apart. Black Rose wins for me. We have eaten lunch at Black Rose a few times and all were good. We split whatever sandwich and that is more than enough for lunch. The reuben is especially good and we really liked the fries. But none of the choices were bad. And over twenty beers... More

We are locals who visit at least once a month. Primarily it's for the chicken wing and beer specials on Wednesdays. They do a great job of serving and keeping everyone happy. We usually have friends in tow and they enjoy the entire menu. It's definitely "bar food" but always good.

Had lunch at restaurant Ambiance was what one would think of for an Irish restaurant bar it was clean and looked nice Waitress and service was prompt and she made suggestions Appetizer : Irish nachos. Sounded good with Guinness cheese , potatoes and bacon along with chives and sour cream. But aside from centralized sour cream dollop. Not much else... More

We always stop here when we hit Hendersonville. We love sitting at the bar and talking to the bartender. My husband enjoyed a "root beer" beer and I had a white zombie. Great selection. Had the potato skins, which I asked for with light cheese, and it was made to order!
