Excellent service

Great pub food. Nice beer selection and friendly, prompt service. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious.

We always stop here when we hit Hendersonville. We love sitting at the bar and talking to the bartender. My husband enjoyed a "root beer" beer and I had a white zombie. Great selection. Had the potato skins, which I asked for with light cheese, and it was made to order!

When you ask for advice from a waiter you expect better than a 50/50 chance of getting something good. We asked about the shepard's pie and the sirloin melt. Both good said the waiter. the melt was great the shepard's pie was so salty as to be inedible. I asked about IPAs. The waiter liked IPAs. He said a local... More

We are here very often. Not so much for the bar but for the food. Big portions and nicely prepared each time. My husband get the Irish dishes like Shepard's Pie oe Corned Beef and Cabbage they are well known for. I like the Grilled Reuben or a fish or salmon entree sometimes. All fresh and salads are great. You... More

We stopped in just for a drink, but found they had an amazing selection of local beers. I am a wine drinker and found the wine selection to be limited, but that is not unexpected. The fried pickles were a delightful bar snack. The bartender was friendly and helped us out with some local recommendations. We took his suggestion for... More

We live in SC near Clemson and go to Hendersonville about 7 or 8 times a year. Whenever we're in Hendersonville, we make it a point to stop at the Black Rose for lunch. It's pleasant, reasonably priced, and the food is always terrific. Today we both had a fish sandwich with a chipotle mayo and it was great. The... More

I ordered the Black and Bleu burger. It was cooked perfectly. And then the fries....salt and black pepper. Simply put....it was a great meal. Oh....and the beer selection isn't bad either!

Best burgers in town, hands down. I'm addicted to the three pepper burger! I have been there many times and that is all I ever order. The staff is very friendly, too.

Toured Hendersonville on Sunday and dropped by the Black Rose for lunch. It was a nice choice. The restaurant is very inviting with seating outside (front and back) and bifold doors that open the main restaurant to the outside. The service was excellent. Sat in a side both which provided the four of us plenty of space. We each ordered... More

The Black Rose Pub is one of those places that has what many strive for and fail.... Consistency and Simplicity. It won't take your 45 minutes to read through their basic but satisfying menu. It's pub food done right. My last visit I had the grilled chicken sandwich. I asked for the bacon very well done, and that's exactly how... More
