Good atmosphere matches food quality

My daughter and I sat ourselves down at the Black Rose and were happy with the atmosphere. It is an Irish Pub with a family oriented vibe, the music was nice and not too loud. I ordered the burger and it was done perfectly and the tomato was thick and delicious. My daughter had the chicken... read more

We enjoyed dining at one of the outside tables, the waitress was a cute perky girl that was very good with people. The fish & chips were very good and the Bangers & Mash were also good. Received nice portions. If we are back in the area we will eat here again.

Quick stop on our way home from the mountains. Nice pub scenery. Wish they offered more local beer (only saw Sierra Nevada local beer served)...would've liked to have some from Wicked Weed or Green Man. The cabbage and cornbeef was delicious, probably some of the best I've ever had. Not a fan of their deep fried pickles. Yes, will come... More

I went for lunch today with a large group, for my first time. I was told the burgers were great and they did not disappoints! It was done perfectly. From Reuben's to burgers to chicken tenders, everyone was happy. Service was terrific too, which is often not the case.

Clean and fun. Really good food. A twist to most foods made it special. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Good beer.

Delicious; this is the only restaurant I go to in Hendersonville. For authenic Irish cuisine, this is the best.

Went to Hendersonville to celebrate a birthday. Based upon reviews we chose the Black Rose. True to form the burgers were great. The taste meal was fantastic and the fries to die for. My wife had the fish and chips and they too were super. The waitress was most delightful and we had excellent service,.. unlike several fools who said... More

Decided to try Black Rose Pub for our anniversary dinner.. What a great decision that turned out to be! The food, the service, ambiance, everything works together here. We will be returning.

We had many choices (30 restaurants in 7 blocks) but chose The Black Rose Public House for our lunch in Hendersonville. Are we ever glad we did! The lunch special was a Buffalo Chicken sandwich, but I prefer a wrap. Our server, Maddie made that happen for us and what a wonderful surprise when we received a chargrilled wrap with... More

We have been looking for authentic Irish food for years, Every time we have the option to try a new Irish pub we do and we have been consistently disappointed. From Kentucky, to West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Louisiana it seemed we would never find good authentic Irish fare, and honestly the food is simple home cooking, you wouldn’t think... More
