Finally Tried The Black Rose Pub

Decided to have dinner here for the first time. It was a festive atmosphere and I was seated promptly. I enjoyed the pub style of the restaurant. My friend order a burger when had a barbeque sauce on it and he said that it was delicious. I had a house salad and added salmon. The salmon was... read more

Was treated to burger and a beer unexpectedly the other night at Black Rose Pub. I, like other reviewers noted herein, have walked or driven past this place dozens of times and have never ventured inside. I will not make that mistake again, I will go back there again! One barkeep on duty, and she was busy; all bar seats... More

Turned out to be better than what we expected. We have walked by Black Rose many times. We never thought about giving it a try. Big mistake! It is a pub, so your going to have the pub atmosphere. The food is amazing. I have to applaud the staff. My wife ordered salmon, which was perfectly cooked. I had their... More

We eat here at least 1-2 times a month - going on 2 years now. The food is always very good and wait staff is great! Love the fact that the waiters work together as a team! The burgers are one of the best in town. Great patty melt and French dip. We believe they have the best fish and... More

The Black Rose, have a good tap selection, can make classic cocktails. Pub food, the shepherd pie is awesome. Can be loud at times.

I'm a bit of a food snob, so when I first went to Black Rose, I was excited to have a burger that was cooked the way I wanted and tasted great as well. Usually, most places overcook the meat, which I hate. So if your are a burger lover, try this place, you won't be disappointed.

What an amazing restaurant stop. I had the warm spinach salad and added trip. The shrimp were generous and perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed the apple fennel salad.

My husband and I were visiting in the area and the Black Rose Pub was recommended to us by the B&B we were staying at, and it was definitely a good choice. My husband had the lamb shepherd's pie which was excellent. I wasn't very hungry so I had the warm spinach salad. It was the perfect size and very... More
