We ate inside, but the people outside were enjoying the weather in addition to their food. I had the spinach salad and a reuben sandwich. Both were really good. Service was excellent.

Compared to the other pub in town, this one is a little better. Still nothing to get excited about. I'm used to eating at McGuire's in Pensacola, where I'm from, so it's hard to find other pubs that compare.

My husband and I have been Hanna Flan patrons for years, but our last visit there was nothing short of atrocious. We had been to Black Rose years and years ago, and honestly, I don't know why we stopped going. So, after raves from some local friends there, especially regarding the Shepherd's Pie, we decided to try it again. For... More

Some friends and myself took a trip to Hendersonville to enjoy what a small town has to offer. We decided to use tripadvisor as our guide which was new for us we found a few gems and a few not so gems. Sadly Black Rose Pub was the latter. The atmosphere was quite cozy and inviting. We started with drinks... More

judi s, Our health inspection score sits right around 97% and has for years. We recieved 93.5% this last quarter because we had a refrigerator holding food at 42 degrees fahrenheit. We resolved that problem the same day. We work closely with the Health Department and take all regulations seriously in our day to day operations. We do not ever... More

My wife and I took a ride into Hendersonville, we were going to search out apples and just enjoy the day. We got into Hendersonville and agreed that we were hungry. My wife and I stopped here because of the drink specials, especially the bloody mary, while we were antiquing. Our Ruben was delicious, but after it was served we never saw our waitress again. I asked a different waitress if she could get us our bill without the drink we had ordered and never got, and in a few minutes the... More

We needed a break from shopping, so dessert and drinks were so worth it. The chocolate lava cake was one of the best I ever tasted.

Although not themed with four leaf clovers and leperchans the Irish faire is excellent. My wife had a corned beef Ruben and I had an Irish breakfast with egg, bangers and potato's ...both were wonderful. The craft beer selection, with many local Ales and IPAs, is one of the best on Main street. For reasons beyond my comprehension resturant service on... More

Our group of seven (four adults and three children) were starving after a day on the Green River. The pizza place we had planned to try was closed so we "settled" on the Black Rose. What an unexpected treat!! The food was delicious and very inexpensive. Our group had the black & blue burger, fish & chips, shepherd's pie, bangers... More
