Had lunch there last Friday with the family and everyone enjoyed their meals. We had the fried pickles which we put in our top 5 best fried pickles. Portions were good size and the food was very good. Didn't have any problems with our service, waitress was quick. Would eat there again.

Per "best burger" reputation, ate there yesterday. Did have a great burger there some time ago BUT ordered black n blue burger this time. Mgr needs to taste test it! Seasoning almost pure salt!! We were really hungry so ate it but paying today!! I will try this place again but not that selection.

Kitchen open until midnight, whereas most Main St restaurants/bars stopped serving at 9, just as we were searching for dinner. Black Rose has something for everyone, all ages included - pretty street side outdoor seating, an open, warm and inviting indoor restaurant/bar, and and out back, well removed from the restaurant side, a back party-atmosphere deck. Service was impeccable. When... More

The Black Rose Pub, in Hendersonville, NC, is a great place to eat. The fish and chips was really good. I sat outside where folks ate with their dogs beside them.

Not a 5* restaurant, but a pleasant little pub with a limited menu, but good, well presented food with serving size large enough to satisfy most anyone. If you leave this restaurant hungry, you should be sidling up to a trough for your lunch. Service was prompt, pleasant and "as needed". Certainly not overbearing; just attentive! My wife had a... We were in Hendersonville for Father's Day and enjoyed a great 3 generation family meal. Seating was prompt, outdoor available but with a shower likely, chose to dine indoors. Good choice of pub style food done well. Shepherd's Pie was excellent, fish and chips likewise. Other choices were equally tasty. Service was attentive and timely. Comfortable relaxed atmosphere. Good selection... More

If you're looking for a great night out in Hendersonville, try the Black Rose. The Corned Beef is to die for. And the burgers are outstanding. Overall, the meal was a 10, and the service (we ate at the bar) was terrific as well. If you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner, this is probably not it. But if you... More

We had a great time eating at the Black Rose. We sat outside on a Sunday night in June, watching people wander by. The atmosphere was enjoyable, definitely made it fun.
