Well, several years ago we thought we found a great breakfast place. It was really good and fresh. I am sorry to say that it has gone downhill fast. We went there again for breakfast several months ago and the home fries were cold, hard and not cooked. They were awful. Then we went back again, and the entire breakfast... More

Dixie Diner is our favorite breakfast restaurant .My husband loves the sausage & swiss omelette. I enjoyed the french toast. They also have some interesting daily specials. The coffee is fresh ground. the servers keep your cups filled :) They have a breakfast buffet , I noticed families like that.

My husband and I went to Dixie Diner last week for breakfast. We also met 2 other friends there. We arrived early, right as they were opening for the day. I guess the waitress doesn't get there till 8:00, so the owner waited on us. She did not smile once, nor did she greet us, make us feel welcome, or... More

We came in to the diner and weren't sure what to do as no one was there to greet us. We stood there a couple minutes looking around and no one came. Then, another couple walked in the door and picked out a table, so we decided to do the same thing. There were a couple of servers that made... More

This place was recommended by the people at Elijah Mountain Mining. We stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday around noon. The food was great, but they were only serving breakfast with the exception of the baked ziti which was on special. I was looking forward to breakfast, but my husband on the other hand had wanted lunch. So,... More

Cinnamon french toast with fruit, egg white omlettes, bacon, grits. Mickey mouse pancakes for children. Everything was wonderful. 5 of us had breakfast and there were no complaints.

The Dixie Diner on Brevard Road (Hwy. 64) in Laurel Park (near Hendersonville, NC) is quite unassuming from the outside. Once inside you feel comfortable. The back room (with all the owls) is very charming. The back patio /deck overlooking the babbling stream is quiet and beautiful. I have been here 3 times in the past month and each time... More

My wife and I almost passed this place It was around 8:30 on a Sunday and my wife and I were on our way back home to Nashville from Tyron, NC. Our plan was to drive through the Pisgah, Smokey's and Cherokee for our road trip and needed a decent breakfast when we stumbled across this amazing treasure of a... More

Four of us stopped to eat breakfast. Had the buffet, and service and food was good, but my brother in law felt the place just did not seem as appealing, appeared to not be the cleanest floors, etc. He is not willing to try again, but I would if near when I wanted to eat.

We were traveling to Charlotte and pulled up this gem on TripAdvisor. Had a wonderful breakfast with personal service and a really great cup of coffee.
