Good ol'Southern breakfast

If you like a good ol' Southern breakfast, this is your place. Whether you like grits or potatoes with your eggs, they have it. Prefer pancakes? They have it and much more. Terrific biscuits, too. Constant fresh coffee is also a plus. And, service with a smile.

By far one of the best breakfast places I know. The staff are all friendly, and the service is good. The piles of bacon above the stove make my mouth water just thinking of them. The biscuits are always fresh, light and delicious. Good grits too. I just had lunch at the Dixie for the first time, great burger. I... More

The Dixie diner has a Veteran's breakfast buffet every 3rd Wednesday of the month from 0800 to 1000. If you are a Veteran, it is free and families are welcome to join the buffet for a small price or they can order off the menu. We walked in and were greeted by a friendly waitress rightaway. The diner had a... More

Had brunch at the Dixie Diner and enjoyed the food. Good service and the price was fair. Grits, eggs (with cheese), bacon and coffee. Would go back.

I do not expect haute cuisine at a diner, but I do want fresh, hot, good comfort food. I eat breakfast here every10 days or so, and find it to be consistent, although some things are better than others. High on my list are French toast, bacon, and muffins. (Ask for an orange cranberry to be grilled - out of... More

The problem I have with most diners is that they seem to have an identity crisis.... meaning they are not sure whether they specialize in Greek, breakfast, coffee, muffins, burgers, etc... If you order the right thing, that's great... but if you order the wrong thing, then McDonalds Chicken Nuggets may be gourmet compared to what you get. My wife... More

I go here all the time. The biggest disappointment is that they close right after lunch. They serve breakfast all the time, have a nice lunch menu, and different special dishes everyday. One a month there is a free Veterans breakfast that is very popular. Everything is home made which makes for very tempting deserts and pastries.

The Dixie Diner is a warm and welcoming place to go for breakfast or lunch. The food is all homemade and delicious. The owner is friendly and down to earth and made me feel right at home. The cole slaw is out of this world. I love local businesses and try to support my neighbors.

This place was at one time the best place for a home cooked (to order) breakfast. Now the food is awful and there is no service.
