Food was good and the service was excellent. Very friendly owners and bartender, Stewie. Pork chop cooked to perfection and the filet was melt in your mouth.

We dined for the first time because a friend recommended it. We had gaspacho, trout and scallops, all of which were delicious. Portion sizes were quite generous, and the preparations were on the heavy side (lots of cream and butter), so there was no room for dessert, which did sound tempting. Service was excellent. Prices were high for Hendersonville --... More

A friend of ours was visiting Hendersonville, NC for their anniversary and was staying at our home. We recommended they try eating at the Inn on Church Street which they did. As a way of thanking us for the use of our home, they purchased a $100 gift certificate for us at the Inn on Church Street in January, 2014.... More

Just too expensive for us! We did stay there one time and the room was fabulous - the breakfast delightful but to go there to just have dinner and drinks is just too expensive for us!

We were there in April 2014. The menu has been changed & we were looking forward to the menu that had been there in the fall 2013. Service was fine, the cook was new & hopefully the menu will be expanded to include some of the old dishes.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. Joe and Stephanie have owned the Inn for almost 3 years and this year we decided to give the restaurant it's own identity as the 3rd Ave. Bistro. Our selections do change often and we have just launched our summer menu. We're excited to have a wonderful new chef who... More

We had a fabulous dinner! Sitting on the porch on a cool May evening. Great cocktails, the best smoked trout appetizer ever! Our salmon and grouper were perfect! Lemon dessert was so light flavorful, we were feeding each other! We have dined around the world; this was one of our best dining experiences ever... Oh, the service was perfect!

Had the special of Monkfish with grilled baby bok Choy. Five star presentation and preparation. The braised short ribs my companion had we're sublime.. Service was flawless and wine selection ( somewhat limited ) was very good none the less. Would absolutely go back . Still dreaming of the short ribs ...mmmmm.

We are so glad you enjoyed your meal at our restaurant! We appreciate your feedback about our wine list...we do intentionally keep it small so that we can rotate our wines often while still offering guests a selection of different varietals and price points. We hope you will return soon! More

We were there for the season's opening night on April 3, 2014, and what a delicious meal from the beginning to the end! Martinis are still good, too. This is the beginning of something great, thanks to the chef and all the staff...and if course, to the innkeepers, Stephanie and Joe. We will continue to be regulars.

Excellent food. Interesting setting. Fine service. But, for whatever reason, it didn't all come together enough for me to want to return over and over again. I will go back, however, and try to figure out if that is a fair analysis. The Inn itself is a left-over from the early 1900's, so that had appeal. But the dining room... More

Went there for Sunday brunch. I had quail that was lightly breaded with squash and berries over a pancake. My wife had crab cake with poached eggs. Bother were quite good. Came with orange juice, biscuits and a small muffin. Service was excellent. Nice ambiance. Just the right amount of food and good coffee. Cost from $12-$18 per person.
