The apple fritters are a signature delight. The huge cinnamon buns are heavenly. The cream cheese brownies are sinful. The pound cake And the pecan pie are just like your grandmothers. You will not walk out empty handed- bring plenty of hands.

The doughnuts melt in your mouth. Soooo much better than KrispyKreme. Everything there is great - just get there early because they do run out of some varieties.

We enjoyed this bakery very much but don't plan to get a full breakfast..mostly just breakfast pastries and muffins and bottled drinks...but definitely worth a stop.

Superior donuts, cakes and cookies -- anything with frosting! Smells delicious. Atmosphere is old time family bakery. Service is small town friendly. Expect a line and know what you want when you get to the counter on Sat AM.

On any given Saturday, the line in Mcfarlands bakery runs almost out the door, but having stood in that line on three different occasions, I didn't find anything that warranted the amount of time I waited to be served. Very very average baked goods,

This is an old fashioned bakery (hard to find these days) in downtown historic Hendersonville, NC. They have a huge selection of bakery items. Many different flavor choices in breads, cakes, pies, cookies, pastries & donuts. Made fresh daily this place is hard to resist. I enjoyed a cream horn & chocolate (brownie like-chewy) cookie. Both were fresh & delicious.... More

This place recommended Mike's for breakfast and then we decided to buy some of their great smelling and delicious looking pastries. Got two éclairs, doughnut, cookies and those I took to my friend... she loved them (red velvet) :) Two thumbs up :)
