We celebrated a birthday dinner at the Copper Door. We drove 45 minutes from Blue Ridge, GA and it was well worth the trip. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful, the service was attentive and professional and the menu was interesting. We tried the mushroom bisque, the tenderloin steak and the fruits de la mer. All were outstanding. One of... More

My husband and I frequent Hiawassee, GA often and this was our first visit to The Copper Door. It was about a 20 minute drive but totally worth it! This is definitely a hidden gem. Like the rest of the reviews, you would be missing out if you did not try this place. We had everything from an appetizer to... More

Was going to drive to Atlanta to eat at one of my favorite places but since the Copper Door was an hour and a half closer, thought I would give it a try. And so we did. The steaks were mid west corn fed beef, cooked perfectly. The diver scallops were excellent.... More

Located in the little town of Hayesville, NC this restaurant offers the best of everything. It's a great place for dinner, try the shrimp shooters as an appetizer, and dessert. They also offer occasional wine dinner pairings which have all been excellent. They will even teach you how to prepare great food with the available cooking classes. Excellent wine cellar... More

The filet is the most tender I have had anywhere. Veggies taste fresh picked. I cannot say enough good things!!!! A big plus is I live... More
