The Copper Door never disappoints. We have been there a lot, and it is the best restaurant in the GA/NC border area, hands down. The service is outstanding. The wine list is without equal for the area, and the food is always great. The catch of the day changing frequently, and is always wonderful. You can not go wrong with... More

My wife and I were visiting friends in Murphy and they said we had to go to the Copper Door during our stay. I checked Trip Advisor and immediately said "lets do it". Boy are we glad we did. This place rocks! We arrived a little early for our reservation so we grabbed a drink at the bar. Our friends... More

Went for wedding rehearsal dinner. Excellent EVERYTHING. Service-10+, Food-10+, Atmosphere-10+. Delicious Pinot Noir wine. Terrific appetizers and entree selections. Anything you want, they have it...and they prepare it excellently. Good place to go if you're staying at Brasstown Valley Resort.

In the middle of basically rural America in the North Carolina mountains appears a 5 star restaurant with incredibly talented chefs. Well worth a side trip.

We love eating at this restaurant when we are staying at Brasstown Valley. This time I had the house salad and crab cake for dinner and it was delicious. Great wine offerings. Excellent desserts. Easily over $100 dinner but worth every penny for a splurge.

My friends and I ate at the Copper Door while vacationing. It was really busy; so I would suggest reservations. We sat at the bar for a time and headed to our table. Amy, our waitress, was very knowledgable about the menu. I had a wedge salad; the scallops casino; and a chocolate dessert. I cannot find anything negative to... More

Outstanding food, service and ambiance. The food and the atmosphere can't be matched. Not inexpensive, but definitely worth the money.

Growing up in Chicago I have an appreciation for flavorful Midwestern beef. This wonderful, cozy, restaurant delivers it fully. Always cooked to perfection with fresh vegetables to accompany the meal. Also the Popovers served before the meal are an unexpected treat. The Salmon Appetizer Platter is also superb. And to top it off.. The Wine Selections will please any Lover... More

We spent the weekend in the mountains and asked around where to have a nice dinner and were told to try the Copper Door. What a huge surprise! One of the finest steaks I have ever had. Dry aged beef, perfectly cooked, delightfully seasoned. The owner greeted us at the door. The service was great. Top notch restaurant hidden away... More
