I have been in Hatteras 10 nights in the past two years and have eaten at Dinky's 3 of those nights and had a different entree each time. The food is AMAZING! I would consider myself a foodie and I love this place. Everything is fresh and well prepare. Service can be a little slow since they are always busy,... More

My boyfriend and I were in Hatteras for the weekend and had dinner here upon recommendations from locals. We were not disappointed. My boyfriend had red snapper served deep fried head and all and I had the New York strip. Everything was fabulous. Thanks

Arrived at Dinky's about 5:30 on Friday night and there was no wait. Service was good and the food was excellent from the prime rib to the Thai shrimp and scallops. Enjoyed a great view of the sound while eating our dinner.

My friends and I set out on a seafood crawl roaming dinner. Everywhere we went was based upon recommendations we collected at restaurants we visited during the night. This was our last stop for the night and I am happy we did not choose to skip it. We were sent here for tuna poke and blue crab raviolis. Both were... More

My family and I went to Dinky's on a Tuesday night it was packed. This restaurant is small hence the name. We had to wait for a table about a half an hour. My dinner party ordered a variety of dishes all were delish. No complaints here!

The best food we enjoyed in Hatteras. We had a large group (12) so we had to split up and wait for a table. Good drinks, nice beer selection and excellent food made for a very enjoyable meal. Try to eat here during sunset - it's beautiful. (THey are not open for lunch).

We had been to Dinky's a couple years ago, liked it and decided to try again. It was totally worth it! We have been two times this week and each time the food and service were good. My husband lives for seafood at the beach and he was not disappointed either time. I'm a crab cake snob and they passed... More

Based on the name of this restaurant, it is surprising to find a more upscale dining experience. Don't be fooled and show up in your beach gear or you will be embarrassed. Fried clams were the catch of the day appetizer the night we were there and they were absolutely the best I have ever eaten. They could be a... More

What a neat little restaurant. My Aunt, who lives in Buxton, suggested this and it did not disappoint. We got a seat by the west window overlooking the harbor and the sound. Great sunset views. Delish fish and deserts. Good wine menu. If you are prone to being chilly, bring a sweater or long sleeved shirt as the AC kind... More
