The best bar in town! It has an upscale but comfortable atmosphere. The building itself is over 100 years old. It used to be a horse stable and a warehouse and it has been reclaimed beautifully. They offer great drinks, large beer (46 taps) and bourbon selection, and live music usually on Friday and Saturday nights. The waitstaff are super... More

I had the crab po'boy special and it was one of the best po'boys I've ever had. Great atmosphere sitting outside on the patio. Will definitely be back and hope to see the crab po'boy again.

Looking for lunch in an unfamiliar city, Winslow's Tavern was recommended by the desk manager at our hotel. It wasn't listed in our GPS but we managed to find it, and we are glad we did. Winslow's is in a wonderfully restored former hardware store and warehouse, with high post-and-beam architecture and exposed brick walls. Upon entering Winslow's we were... More

Winslow's is in "Uptown" and very close to the East Carolina University Campus (walking distance). I have only been there for lunches, but I very much like the place. Reasonably priced, service is always excellent and attentive, and the food is very good for the price. The homemade chips are great. They recently (October 2014) updated the menu and added... More

Advertised as a deli and living in New Jersey & New York I had expectations of a good deli sandwich. Ordered their New York Ruben. It was tasty but skimpy on substance. Could have used a lot corn beef & kraut and yes, more Swiss cheese. A bit pricey for a less than filling sandwich. Pub chips were good!

Monday lunch options were somewhat limited in downtown Greenville, and we decided to give Winslow's a try even though at first it seemed to be just a bar. In the old Globe Hardware building, this place has been very nicely redone. From the front bar area, we went into the back bar area with its more restaurant feel. Off to... More

Good restaurant and bar close to campus at ECU. The atmosphere is good, but the food can either be great or miss badly. We were there on game day, and there was not enough wait staff to keep up with the demand, plus the kitchen was off. Other than this miss, this is a good place to hang out and... More

Excellent service, excellent beer selection, excellent chips. The rest of the dishes on the menu are really hit or miss. I would NOT go here to eat a meal, but rather to have a drink and perhaps a side to accompany the drink.

We attended an office lunch. I wasn't impressed with the choices, nor did I understand all the excitement that others had shared. The service was slow.

We did sit outside so our waitress had far to go. Slow and unavailable. I think she had to have tables inside. Food - weird balsamic dressing and my Bar-B-Que sandwich was soggy/watery. Was it sitting in water to keep it warm before serving? No sauce other than vinegar. Am I in Carolina? Attractive spot and popular with locals. Parking... More
