Loved their food

Came here for lunch the other day and it was an enjoyable experience. They had outdoor seating, but since there were very people we sat inside (can be cramped-at times). With very few people in there on a Saturday afternoon our waiter was very tentative to our needs and the food was out to us in no... read more

Food was good I'd give it a 4, but the tables are only inches apart. Impossible to have a private conversation. Not recommended for a romance dinner.

Went twice within a couple of weeks and ordered the Beef Bourguignon with noodles on the side. It was to die for, so tender one could cut it with a fork. Had a salad of kale tossed in a light vinaigrette. For desert had chocolate cake-like which was very rich

Very good food and service. Small seating area. Reservations are recommended for weekends. Outside dining is enjoyed in spring and summer

My husband and I went there for our 31st Anniversary the other night. Very romantic atmosphere and quiet music playing in the background. My husband has the Ahi, perfectly seared & seasoned, I enjoyed Mussels in white wine sauce. We both shared Bruschetta, which was the best we have ever had & the Creme Brule* was the perfect ending to... More

My wife and I went here for lunch a little over a week ago. We like seafood, we moved recently from Amarillo Texas and are trying to lap up as much seafood as we can while in NC. The décor was unexpected, they had a checkerboard floor and red accent walls. The space was somewhat narrow and long, however it... More

My husband and I went here for my birthday/our anniversary. We really enjoyed the food. It got a pasta dish and he got a beef stew soup. I was quite satisfied after we finished but I knew my husband would still be hungry because the portion-size was on the smaller size. My husband had to fill up on the bread... More

My sister and niece came down from PA, we got reservations at Cafe Duo. My sister and I got the rack of Lamb Chops, and though I do not usually eat lamb without mint sauce (not jelly), the boulliabase was very good. My niece got the gnotti raviloli and said it was a good as any Italian restaurant she had... More

Simple decor, casual atmosphere and comfortable city feel was my first impression. Our pasta entrees were very good crafted on a white plate, I had pasta a lla vodka (the sauce was so perfect I can drink it as soup by itself); my friend had the Chilean seabass and it was silky smooth and very tasty. The prices are very... More
