My fiancé and I go to Tripps often. Often being defined as once a week or once every other week. We continue to go back because the service is so great. Every Thursday Brad provides some of the best customer service in Greenville. We like the ribeye and the salads are a favorite.

My wife and I went for Lunch on a Wednesday, the place was relatively full, I would say about 2/3, which isn't bad for a Greenville restaurant. This was our first time here, it's your typical family dining Americana place, with cloth napkins and sturdy silverware. The menu was average to large, with a typical selection of salads, sandwiches, steaks... More

Went in for dinner with family (8 people) and had a small wait (30 minutes) Got seated and it took our server about 10 minutes to show up. Took drink order and it was another 10 minutes. By then we knew what we wanted but she would be right back. Needless to say it didn't get much better. Food order... More

This review may not be fair to Tripps as it will be done from a somewhat dulled memory. My excuse being that my team's biggest rival for the premier league had just let slip a 3-0 lead and hence I had been celebrating... I went here with work colleagues and customers as they had recommended the place for dinner. I... More

When you travel a lot and revisit restaurants, it is not unusual to walk out saying it wasn't as good I remember.....But Tripps is the exception. Over the last 8 years, I have eaten there maybe 16 times and I can honestly say that the food is consistently good, service is good, and if you are not happy ( very... More

I usually attend the one in Garner and I've always had an enjoyable time with the service and food. Came here to visit my girlfriend and we came here for brunch. The food was amazing and I have to say... The price was great as there was an over abundance of food on my plate, to the point I couldn't... More

We were looking for a place to eat for lunch. We had only been once before and couldn't remember if the food was good or not. A sweet girl came up and asked us what we wanted to order and we ordered both cheeseburgers.after about 40 minutes our food was still not ready and we were starving. Finally after about... More

The order was wrong for our appetizer. We waited almost half an hour for our entree. My husband's prime rib was good. I ordered the New Orleans chicken and shrimp which was not edible. The waitress asked us how our meals were. I explained that my dish was vile. She then asked me if that meant good! I explained it... More

Overall, service and fod were so bad that we would not come here again if we had not been pleased before this visit. Other visits were much better. It took a lomg, long time to get served and when our food came, my wife's tuna (on her salad) was very cold. She had to send it back and after another... More

We visit Greenville often to visit my mother in-law and if we stay over a Wednesday we always enjoy Wednesday Prime Rib night at Tripp's. Service and food is great. I don't recall our waitress name tonight but they don't come any better! Reasonable prices and their babyback ribs are also great!
