So nice to get to see some comedy in this city. I'm really shocked there is no comedy club in this city. But this place was fun. Nice little hipster coffee shop setting. The host was good and the acts were short and to the point. We will definitely return.

Tipsy has been central to an emerging alternative, local culture in Greenville. The food is good and priced well. Casual atmosphere, cosmopolitan vibe, live music.

So I have lived in Greenville for almost a year, and I have never been to this place before. I had been to the Indian place next door several times, but walked right by the Tipsy Teapot. I loved the atmosphere. The place is huge, and right downtown. The space isn't filled with efficiently placed tables, it's filled with shelves... More

Went here for lunch today. They had a sign that said "We're still open" so the review that said it was closing at the end of December is not accurate (that was right back then but things have changed). Tipsy Teapot has a wonderful menu of vegetarian and healthy choices which are sorely lacking in Greenville. I had a mushroom... More

I have really enjoyed Tipsy. It's a great place to sit and enjoy a hot pot of tea with friends during the afternoon. I've been here on several occasions for music in the evening, although the genre may not be my taste always, I appreciate the fact that they open their venue to local artists. They have great craft beers... More

The Tipsy is closing its doors at the end of December. Over the years it has been a unique gem in Greenville in a sea of unoriginal restaurant concepts. "A home away from home" - so true. Many good times were enjoyed here. Where else in town can you browse used books or read and have lunch (brunch when offered),... More

This is a cute a quirky little gem. It's a bookstore, a tea shop and a brunch spot as well as a performance space. The food is very good: home made, abundant, and local. For brunch there's a really good variety of everything. Choice of teas, coffees, juice. Eggs, quiche, muffins (mini ones), french toast pieces, wheat or white toast,... More

Tipsy is a great place to hang out or enjoy with your friends. One of the few places in the area that always have a vegan option on the menu for lunch or supper and don't forget dessert! Great Location and plenty of parking around back. Always a great selection of entertainment. Something for all ages.

Tipsy Teapot is a one of a kind place. It is more than a restaurant. It is an experience for the senses. They have wonderful entertainment most nights of the week (anything from comedy, rock , original artists, etc.) with a substantial menu of delectable foods made to order with locally grown ingredients. Vegens and vegetarians are more than welcome... More

We came here for lunch because it is so welcoming and comfortable; the great food was a surprise. The multigrain bread used for our sandwiches (tomato & brie and veggie) was outstanding and the service was friendly and efficient. Only negative was the 66 degree or so temperature, but we'd certainly go back.
