Good authentic Mexican food. Sometimes, not too well put on the plate but the taste is still there. I love their salsa and chips and my usual dinner is the two chicken enchiladas.

If you want the best Mexican food in town, you need to eat at Torero's... The food is wonderful and there's enough to bring home for another meal.

Nicely decorated, great staff. My chili relleno was excellent. Not impressed with the salsa. My grandson's said, "this tastes like spaghetti sauce." I had to agree. We got guacamole since no one liked the salsa. It was very good and homemade.

I cannot believe that one of the best meals we've ever eaten at a Mexican restaurant happens to be in Goldsboro, NC! We were looking for a quick bite to sustain us until meeting our family for dinner. After checking out Trip Advisor reviews we decided to give this one a shot. So glad we did! Everything is home made,... More

We are used to spicy homemade chili, green or red, which was available at most Colorado Mexican restaurants. The food here was Ok but nothing special. The chili sauce was very mild- maybe North Carolinians don't like spicy food.

We always enjoy eating here. Kids are picky eaters and they love it. So good authentic dishes mixed in with the more Americanized fare.

This is not a Mexican restaurant that simply copies everyone else. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better. With a friendly staff and great service what is not to like.

Ive been here several times while in the area in business. I'm consistently impressed with the service, traditional atmosphere and authentic selection.

I love Torero's. Miguel and Rebecca, the owners, are awesome. The food is delicious, and the plates are huge. The alcoholic drinks aren't watered down like they are everywhere else. At times, the service is a little slow, but it gives you the chance to savor the tasty beverages and excellent appetizers (get the cheese dip...it's only a few bucks,... More

All by itself, Torero's is a good enough reason to go to downtown Goldsboro. The food is extremely well prepared, the wait staff is attentive and well-trained (not intrusive but there when you need them). The portions are very large for the price and we almost always have more than enough. If you are not a big eater, you might... More
