Tony's has the best ice cream. I've had the hot fudge cake, banana split, and just plain ice cream. They have burgers, hot dogs and fries too. A great place for lunch or an evening ice cream treat. Could use a few more tables, most times you have to wait.

Stopped here after hiking Crowders Mountain. Yummy treat! We had rocky road and loved it. Fun environment, great service, excellent value.

Best BLT in town and milkshakes. Love the grape milkshake! Staff are very friendly and the line moves quickly!! It is a small town must see and experience.

Tony's Ice Cream is caught in a time warp! The dining area looks the same as it did back in the late 1950's and early 1960's... and that's a good thing. Specializing in fresh ice cream they are famous for their huge milkshakes! Grape is one of the favorites!

The chocolate milk shake was plentiful and delicious! The hotdog was average, nothing to write home about. The ice is well known, and I completely understand why--it's delicious! A must try when in the area.

You get A LOT of ice cream so you might want to start with just a kiddie cup. Lots of choices to pick from. Parking can be an issue but it's a Gastonia icon.
