Pleasant Surprise

On our way to Charlotte my husband had a hankering for fried chicken (which I don't make at home) so I searched online and this place popped up first with some good reviews. Since they weren't too far off the freeway we decided to try it. My husband LOVED the fried chicken, I loved the fried... read more

We visited on a Friday evening between 7:30-8:00 pm. I had read a review about how great the food was especially the fried chicken, which is what we had. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old grease and was not piping hot. We received our chicken in less than 10 minutes which leads me to believe it had... More

Super good chicken . Well worth the price. Fast service. Could work on being more friendlier. Place could stand an update on the interior.

If you like fried chicken livers, I am here to say these are the best I have ever eaten anywhere. Perfectly cooked and service was excellent and quick. Highly recommend as their chicken is great as well.

My mom, sister, and I used to have a special outing with my mom every year on Christmas Eve. I think all of us were blown away by the fried chicken, but the fried shrimp is pretty awesome too!

I love the chicken tenders with the honey mustard! The hush puppies are great too, the sweet tea is the sweetest I've ever had and the banana pudding is to die for!

Very popular place in downtown Gastonia. The seafood or fried chicken are both good choices. Their sweet tea is legendary. Unlimited refills - serve yourself. Their hushpuppies are made in house from their own recipe. I usually choose chicken but, I have had their shrimp and fish and enjoyed them as well. YOu orfer at the counter and then they... More

I have always gone for the fried chicken (I personally like the salt and pepper), but all their food is very good and the owner and staff are great people. It is a Best of Gastonia winner.
