We love their spaghetti with meatballs, which has always been delicious. Their Primavera is excellent as well. Always order the house salad dressing, it's the bomb!

Wide variety of Italian dishes. Dishes are not too fancy but portions are more than ample. Owners/managers are hard working guys from Naples. Pizza is very good too. In a shopping center but with nice Italian decor and background music. Service is always good.

This is my third time eating at this establishment. First time was right after the Gaston Gazzette reviewed them as a good pizza shop and it was ok. Had better, had worse. Tried it again and the pizza was burnt on the bottom. Figured ok, it was an off night. Tried it again this evening and it was burnt once... More

We've always liked the food here, especially the pizza. 10% off for church groups on Sundays. Located in Gastonia's Franklin Square III across from Movie Theaters, easy to find off I-85, exit 23.

I went to Portofinos Italian restaurant last Friday, I didnt eat there since a long time because we moved in west Virginia for a little bit, and me and my family missed that real and authentic Italian food a lot.We were so sad because its not easy to find a nice, quiete atmosphere like that.we usually order seafood, pizza and... The ambience isnt the greatest BUT the veal parmesan is soo delicious. Hand breaded, not frozen patties, a great salad and bread. The sauce is a little sweet and its thick. They have a pasta dish with seafood--shrimp, mussels, and calamari that is very good also.

I went to Portofino's as a reference from one of my dates' close friends. I must say we were a little put of about it being in a store front. He was worried about the amount of seating available or if there was any at all. The restaurant has a bar in the front and plenty of seating, possibly enough... More

This was a great Italian restaurant. I loved the pasta and their fresh baked bread. I also had a cannoli and it was fabulous. Really hit the sweet spot.

We stopped here on our way down 85 towards Atlanta because we wanted something besides fast food. We were a little unsure about an Italian restaurant in a strip mall, but were very pleased. The portions are huge, so my husband and I split the veal special. They do have a $5 split charge, but it was very reasonable considering... More

Stopped by here on the way through Gastonia. It was very good. I tried the Spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. Wife had noodles with butter, Garlic and broccoli , Food was good. Was disappointed with the Garlic bread. Was a toasted bun with a slice of cheese and garlic. I want garlic rolls or knots. i would go back - just... More
