Great food, one of the best Italian restaurants. I always check my take out orders, there for a while, something was missing from the order. The staff in Gastonia at the register are moody.

I am from New England, so I know a good Italian restaurant from a bad one and this one used to be great, but not anymore. My husband and I finally got a night out alone and we made the 30 minute ride just to go to this restaurant. We got the fried calamari and I had to add salt...

Italino son in law from Sicily agrees it's like dining at home on the island. Pizza with the egg, all the pasta to remember home with mamma. Cio
We had heard good reviews of this restaurant, so we decided to try it. Being from NY we were excited to hear that Potafino's had a thin crust pizza. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and Shrimp fra diavolo for "take out." The pizza was very greasy and the sauce was very bland. They made a mistake and put a butter...

The only thing good was the bread they bring before the meal. This is the second time I have tried this restaurant and I am sure...

The pastas are delicious, the ambiance is warm, and the service is always good. We are pretty picky about Italian food (never order pasta at a restaurant that isn't Italian is one of our rules). We know we are going to get a good meal whenever we come here.
