Our approach is simple: Good food... Fine drinks... Friends & Family. These are the ingredients at Lotus. We bring them together under the same roof, and combine these elements into a memorable experience. Sound complicated? It's not. We begin with an incredible variety of locally-sourced products and imported fresh ingredients, searching far and wide for distinct local flavors, and bringing them home to our close-knit community. Here at the crossroads of the Carolinas, we set our sights upon presenting to you, our valued customer, a time-honored feast that we hope will evoke a long-lost meal, an eye-opening experience at a five star restaurant, or a favorite that you haven't even discovered yet. With signature cocktails made fresh from scratch, over 80 domestic and imported micro-brews, 40+ wines by the glass, premium sake, and rare, small-batch spirits, we stock a drink lover's library to quench your thirst. Our sushi bar specializes in traditional fare as well as creative signature rolls, serving only the freshest fish: raw, cooked, and everything in between. Our kitchen finds inspiration in classic American comfort food, bringing together a wide range of regional influences and culinary know-how to produce a modern twist on homespun favorites. With fresh catch specials brought in daily from the coastal Carolinas, and everything from prime steaks, all-natural free-range chicken, and house-smoked BBQ to jumbo lump crab cakes, shrimp 'n grits, and homemade pastas, we have something for everyone regardless of taste, appetite, or budget. We Love what we do, and know you will too.

One of the best

Sandwiches at lunch are plentiful and very good. My husband had the BBQ sandwich which was not the typical BBQ but was excellent. Shrimp and grits were tasty at dinner. Nice atmosphere and lively.

On route to Atlanta my wife and I searched out this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It's not that accessible from I-85 and I was hoping for better. Service for a Friday night was very prompt and courteous, but the crispy calamari was not that crispy. Bread was OK but oil and vinegar was not well mixed so balsamic vinegar was... More

Stopped for dinner on our way down to Atlanta. The service was wonderful. Our server Lauren was courteous & offered good suggestions. The calamari was a little chewy but the crab cakes were tasty.

Lotus is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is a little more upscale and will cater to a discerning palette better than the average chain restaurants. I manage a hotel and our staff refers people here all the time when a guests requests a "nicer" place.

This is a great place to dine. The staff is always pleasant and the food is absolutely delicious no matter what you order! They offer a wide variety of food and beverage choices along with a good selection of high end liquors!

Probably the best seabass and risotto I have ever had...absolutely perfect. The sauteed bok choy was our choice and was wonderful.

I have eaten here before - but had forgotten how nice a setting this and great food. We all ordered different plates and everyone at our table loved their food. The service was FINE and the price was better than expected. I will be back and hope these folks keep their chef, he is doing a great job!

Five friends met for dinner and I have to admit it has been a while but another friend recently raved about Lotus so we went back for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was handled by a lovely young lady. We dined and did not rush through our meal and we truly enjoyed it. We will be returning... More

Dependable is often not a compliment but in Gastonia it is! For 6 years we have had family celebrations, quiet dinners, quick lunches and the food is always excellent and service with a smile. Wonderful!

We had a party of 10 that decided to eat at Lotus on Sunday night, wow what a mistake. We arrived at Lotus, starving and ready for some good eats and drinks. Welp, not that night. Service was so slow, and I mean so slow!! Finally we got our food, it was pretty good, I had the sushi, and well,... More
