Toot N Tell is in the town of Garner NC. It is a quaint "oleTime" place where you feel like your stepping back in time. If you are into fancy fru fru type of restaurants with 40 TV's and 100 kinds of beer, this place isn't for you, but if you were a child of the 70's and ate with... More

Since moving to Raleigh, several locals recommended Toot-N-Tell in Garner. It has been there since the 1940s - and seems to have never been updated. My wife and I were in Garner and tried it for lunch. Maybe I've dined at too many fine restaurants, but the experience for me was like having a meal of leftovers in your grandmother's... More

This restaurant has been in place for many years. It's a little tired on the inside but the food is home cooked at it's best.

Was not a fan at all.. This might be a local fav due to the prices which were cheap but the food reflected it. Would not go back.

Good for country folks that like pork and everything cooked in pork. I don't especially, so it's not ever going to be my favorite spot. We went this morning and I ordered eggs, rice, and tomatoes. Unfortunately the rice was only available from the buffet, which I can't do, so I didn't get what I came for. The eggs were... More

Small place but big taste! Buffet that literally has all of your favorite southern comfort foods: fried chicken, green beans, Mac & cheese, peas, chitlins, mashed potatoes and many more! Desserts include several fruit casseroles and southern pies. Well priced @ $7 per adult, incredible customer service. We'll be visiting here many times to come. Can't wait to try the... More

We were driving by and decided to stop for breakfast. The service is quick, friendly and a great example of teamwork. There is a menu and a buffet to choose from. We tried the buffet and we're not disappointed. All items were fresh and hot. This is real home cooking. Fresh scrambled eggs not bagged liquid eggs and many meat choices.... More

My husband and I have breakfast dates normally twice a month (used to be every week!) and have visited Toot-N-Tell several times, giving it several chances to convince us to come back. The last time though we sat there and wondered what the draw was to this place. The food was average, bacon was under cooked, and it was nothing... More
