Great Breakfast and Lunch

self owned and a great person and staff and food. They all work as a team making you feel at home with good home cooking. I have the Chicken fried steak and homefries smothered in onions and cheese and Raisin toast. And for lunch I love their chicken livers but you can go to her sight and see... read more

Angie has been in the restaurant business since she was 14 & her restaurant sure is a testament to that! She has great cooks & her wait staff never let your coffee cup get empty! If Angie's not busy behind the register, she's chatting with her patrons & keeping cups even fuller! She makes everyone feel special & loved!

We frequent this restaurant so I have tried many things. Whatever the specials of the day are, I typically pick one of those and have never been disappointed. Excellent fried shrimp and country steak !! Great pancakes and burgers!! The ONLY thing I have not like there, and I have tried a lot of things, is the grits (gluey and... More

The breakfast was delicious. I had the Breakfast Special, with a side of gravy for the biscuit. Everything was great, and our server was very friendly. Angie was also very nice to talk to when we were checking out. She's doing it right!

Angie takes pride in everything she does at her restaurant in Garner, NC, and it shows in every plate that's served and on every customer's smile.  We are visiting the area from out of town and we can honestly say that Angie's is one of the best restaurants at which we have ever had the privilege to dine.  With excellent... Came here for breakfast twice. Fresh eggs are used, southern style biscuits & gravy (they just don't make 'em right up north), grits, bacon....shall I go on? Seat yourself where ever you can and service is right with you. I'm told everything they make there is fresh and very good. Sit a spell and sip your sweet tea. You may... More

Angie's is a local favorite. Everything on the menu is good but my particular favorites are the Philly cheese steak omelet, cream chipped beef over home fries, and their peach cobbler. The cobbler is addicting and I ask for it every time I go. Great chocolate chip cookies too. Angie really worked hard to make a name for herself. She's... More

Skip all the other resturants, chain and otherwise, and get over to Angies for breakfast. Great portions at great prices (our party of 8 was a little over $8 each) and we ate well. The service was personal and very attentive (not one cold cup of coffee or empty cup the entire time). Like others say, ignore the outside of... More

We saw all the reviews of this place and decided it was a good place to try breakfast one day. We liked it so much, we came back for lunch. The food is very well prepared, and is not swimming in grease. The staff is very friendly, albeit quite slow. The slow time is understandable considering the popularity of the... More
