I was looking for good Southern cooking, and I found it at Ms. Lois'. The blackened catfish was to die for, tho the front desk clerk from the gulf coast said it's not as thick as where she comes from. Even the standards - macaroni and cheese and coleslaw - were great. I highly recommend.

Really really really good home style cooking. Had the blackened chicken and finished up with some awesome banana pudding Definitely worth the price of admission

Best cheeseburger in Franklin. Love their blackened chicken salad and pies. Great service :) One of our favorite lunch spots.

In this little town, we found some great breakfast, friendly service, and southern atmosphere. You just have to get over the locals looking at you funny. Must have the fresh blueberries pancakes.

Good food. Good service with a smile. Went there for birthday breakfast. And even got a piece of pie and a happy birthday song from the staff and met someone else with same birthday that's something that they usually do only at dinner but we were from out of town so we the full treatment.

While the interior is nothing to write home about--just a lot of tables in a room--the food and service is superior. Large portions at very reasonable prices.

We decided to have lunch at Ms. Lois' after our bike ride on the local greenway. The location was very easy to find, right on one of the main thoroughfares in Franklin. The prices were very reasonable. I ordered two chili dogs, all the way, with fries. I really enjoyed my dogs (not as good as Skins in SC but... More
