I had catfish for the first time ever here! It was delicious. The seasonings they use arent too spicy but just right. Their hush puppies are to die for, and the bread pudding is also amazing. Deep friend basket has all sorts to choose from, I enjoyed it and so did my husband!

Four of us ate there recently; we all loved our fare, from drinks to dessert (key lime pie, awesome!). I had a lovely salad topped with steamed shrimp, two others had the catfish basket, the other guy had corn and crab soup (as did I) and peel and eat shrimp. Great atmosphere, inexpensive. We will go back soon!

This little hole in the wall in a strip mall on Highlands road has been here for quite a while but we have not tried it until recently. It is a small place probably only about 30 or so seats. We were first of the lunch crowd. My wife had a cup of blue crab soup and I had a... More

After a trip to Nantahala Brewing, my husband and I drove another 1/2 hour to visit The Cajun Connection, as a guest at the Biltmore Estate had recommended it to my husband. (He works in the winery there.) The location leaves much to be desired, just let me say straight up. It is in a rather dilapidated strip mall, and... More

WE have been to this restaurant several times. My mom is from New Orleans and I lived there for years...so we are qualified to tell you it is authentic!!! I recommend the crawfish and all of the soups, the service was good as well.

We (party if 4) had worst dining experience ever! Food was ok, but service was unbelievably rude. 2 of the 4 received their meal and were finished by the time 3rd person received salad. 4th persons order was incorrect and when we informed the waitress, she became angry and stormed off. 3rd person received dinner and was finished while 4... We love the food and service at Cajun Connection. We probably eat there two times a week! Best Cajun pasta, fried okra, bread I ever ate!

The food is good and the service is friendly. The shrimp and grits were great as was the fried crawfish tail appetizer.

The service tends not to be very good. Usually have to ask to get your glass refilled, if you can find someone. They are expensive compared to the amount of food you get. Their food is pretty good, but after livning in New Orleans for 11 years, I definately have had better cajun food at better prices. If you need... More

Food for Franklin area is too pricey! Food was not that great and service was poor. Restaurant area is much too small and you felt like you were on top of the next table.
