Great breakfast

Love this place. Been at the same location nearly 40 yrs. Great comfort food, cheerful atmosphere and pleasant staff. Pricier than some of the local diners, but cater to tourist as well as locals. Great menu, but bring cash, no plastic.

This place is an icon for the town. Many locals and old-timers have lots of memories of going to this place or even working there over the years. You can bet most people can be be sure to run into someone they haven't seen in years. Recommended for you to visit for sure if you want that good old fashioned... More

This restaurant has been around for at least 50 years. They have served a meat and sides forever at lunch with daily specials. Country style steak on one day, turkey and dressing on another and so on. If you find a favorite you can be assured to get that meal on the designated day. Pretty good burgers. Prices have increased... More

It may be short on atmosphere, but it is still long of flavor. I could eat their country ham every day of the week. Biscuits like grandma made. I confess my iced tea is half and half these days. And a slice of the coconut pie always goes home with me.

Twenty years ago I used to enjoy a biscuit and egg breakfast every morning with my grandfather when we visited in the summer. Now that I have kids of my own, it is nice to visit my parents and find this Franklin institution is still around and serving good food. People who say you get the same food for cheaper... More

Just ok for breakfast, but expensive for what you get. Nothing on the menu for any meal is worth mentioning. Just a place to stop if you are hungry, but more expensive than eating at McDonalds or having a Bologna sandwich and not as good.

We ate here for dinner one night. The food was good however the waitress could have been better. Not very friendly and a little rude. Could not leave quick enough. Disappointing.
