Awesome food. Service can be a little slow but it's made from scratch and you can always enjoy a second yummy German Beer!

Please, be prepared to wait, the food is cooked to order. Johanna is very personable and it is well worth the wait for her cooking.

When traveling or exploring further into my town of residence I am dependent first and foremost upon the internet, and as a result I do my best to give businesses the opportunity to earn the review I post. I know how online reviews can hold weight. Based upon the experience we had at this restaurant, the proprietor has earned every... More

Our party of three ordered three different entrees and we were told there would be a delay since the dumplings would take longer. No problem and we did get the food in a reasonable, but definitely unhurried, time frame. Food wasn't bad nor was it outstanding. Serving size was adequate. The Hungarian goulash seemed to be just roast beef in... More

My boss and I stopped in here one morning after finish work a little early. We arrived a bit before they normally open but the owner was just walking up to open when we we headed back to our car. Instead of turning us away like most places would she invited us in and fired up the grill. We chatted... More

Went there for the first time about a week ago and I will definitely be going back. The wait staff was very nice and the German ladies who cook (1 is the owner) were very kind. I was reminded of the Kantina at Grafenwoehr and of other down home German restaurants that I had visited while I was in Germany... More

This is our go-to place for filling German food. The place is small with a little bar as you first walk in and the owner has always been there to greet us. Getting your food takes a little longer than chain eateries because your food is prepared by the owner, herself. The food is well worth the wait..plus the fresh... More

This place gets extra points for being in Fayetteville where good restaurants are slim pickings. The food was absolutely fantastic. Portions were enormous and not expensive (10$-15$). However, the dining room was too dark and the service was so-so. Nonetheless I will return.

I called at 4:30 to order 2 dinners and specifically asked what time I should be there bc I have a toddler and 3 weeks ago my husband waited an hour and a half for his pick up order!! The owner said 5 bc it takes 25 min to cook the dumplings. We were there at 5 and OF COURSE... More
