The atmosphere is wonderful. The table service was very good. The salad before the entrée was very good. Then it was downhill from there. I ordered chicken Parm. The sauce, breading and pasta were all bland. I’ve seldom had a meal in greater need of...salt. On top of that, The chicken was clearly fried in oil that was far too hot. The breading had turned dark, bitter brown, bordering on black. My wife’s eggplant Parmesan suffered the same fate, except that while it was scorched on the outside her eggplant was still raw in the middle. Both entrées were exceptionally greasy. Our son ordered a pasta dish with Bolognese that also was bland. And the bread rolls that were brought to the table with the meal were underbaked to the point of being still like raw dough inside. I ate my meal because I was hungry. My son ate half of his. My wife sent the eggplant back as it was practically inedible. What was especially disappointing is that no accommodation was made to discount the bill for sending the eggplant back. There’s no point in putting up a fuss, or making a spectacle of ourselves over a few dollars. But suffice it to say, we won’t be going back.More

We had a wonderful Sunday Night supper here. Definitely worth the drive off the internet for some great Italian! Our server Stephanie was very helpful and knowledgeable and had the best recommendations! We’ll be back!

Excellent food and even better service. Great value. My wife and I wanted to go to another establishment on Hay St, but when we got there, they were not seating because of internet problems. Pierros was on our maybe list; we decided to give them...a try. Not at all disappointed. We had an appetizer, bottle of wine (1/2 off on Wednesday), and two entrees. Under $100 including a good tip. Compliments to the kitchen, and Derik’s service was superb.More

I lived in this city for 15 years back in the early 2000s and this restaurant was one of my favorites. My sister and I decided to visit the botanical gardens there and went to have lunch at Pierros first. I could not wait to...get my usual Penne a la Vodka. Was disappointed to learn this has been taken off the menu but there is still a Rigatoni a la Vodka so I ordered that. The vodka sauce is not right. It's completely different from the vodka sauce they served in 2010. It was very off putting and tasted as if it had feta or some other strong cheese in it. I'm not a fan of feta so the whole dish was just not good to me. My sister got shrimp scampi. The plate arrived with the shrimp swimming in sauce but lacking the garlic. My sister asked for some extra garlic for the sauce and was brought a bowl of raw minced garlic swimming in some sort of watery liquid. She also was not impressed. On the plus side our salads were delicious so that was the saving grace on this trip. The waitress was super friendly and the views are nice but it's not worth going there for the food. Will go to Luigis or Antonellas if I'm back in the area again.More

We have been stopping at Piero's for many years on our way home from Florida. But never again. Four of us ordered different meals and every one was defective. The eggplant parm was two slices of eggplant on spaghetti; the chicken piccata was tasteless, the...lasagna used to have Bolognese sauce, but no longer, and the lobster ravioli was smothered in a thick sauce. The table was dirty when we sat down. The waiter didn't know how to serve wine. And there was no cappuccino served. Prices were up, and the food and service were down. Not coming back.More

We enjoyed some delicious food and were served by an attentive server named Savannah. I had the mussels appetizer and shared a small salad with my wife, she ordered the Stromboli, I enjoyed a full bowl of mussels cooked in white wine with lots of...garlic! Yum! The salad was very nice and the generous portion of Stromboli was enough that we took half home. The tasty marinara source was an excellent accompaniment to the rich cheese, sweet sausage, and pepperoni of the Stromboli. A nice Montepulciano red wine complemented the food. Nice open venue, but noisy customers at the bar detracted from an otherwise friendly atmosphere.More

I enjoyed lasagna while my husband had the spicy Fra Diavolo. The knotted bread rolls were tasty and the Caesar salad was not my favorite but good. We had a very attentive server and we were happy to find a place open on a Monday.

Went there for a birthday dinner. The food and drinks were amazing! The reason I gave a 4/5 was the service was slow for how few guests there were and how many servers were running around. Also, they give you garlic knots while you wait....Ours were hard and tough to chew. I don't know if they were supposed to be like that or not. They tasted good, but the hardness took away from them. They gave a free birthday dessert which was very nice of them! I would go back again as this was my first time.More
