I have never been to a Joe's Crab Shack so my husband and I went after church a few weeks ago. He has lived in Fayetteville before due to being in the military, and has been to this one before. His experience apparently wasn't very good because, as he'd put it they gave him child-like portions and he didn't feel... more

Our waiter was really good, really knew the menu, didn't write anything down, everything came out just as we asked. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. more

We ate lunch there on Father's Day in June, 2009. I had the crab cakes, which were the best I've ever eaten. It's so good, you really don't even need the sauce. The servings are more than generous. We also had the sampler appetizer platter. Even the chicken is fabulous. Some people mentioned rude wait staff, but I want to... more

Wow! This place is filthy. I wish they had a HAZMAT wash down station upon leaving. The staff is only there to earn a paycheck. No visible management on the floor. I looked at the menu and felt the sticky table. I could not bring myself to order anything. The wait staff was doing some sort of dance and chant... more

I've dined twice at this restaurant, for one reason. The playground. I love that I can sit and eat, and my son can play, if he wants to. The first time I went I ordered a salad that said it had "mixed greens", and it was all iceberg lettuce. It was pretty disappointing. The second time, I got mahi mahi... more

We love Maryland crabs, but can't get there. This was a great substitute for them. We got the Joe's Crab streamer bucket or something like that. This was for two at $39.99 with steamed crabs, steamed shrimp, new potatoes, corn on the cob, and saugage. It was good and extremely kid friendly for our 1 year old and 4 year... more

Husband and I went on my birthday. The closest location was a hour and a half drive from our home, but was well worth the drive! We had shared a bucket of crabs and a bucket of beer and it was fantastic. We had the spicy blend which was very spicy, but not too much and washed down well with... more
