Friendly staff, large portions

El Zarape is a family fave when we come to visit. Good salsa, friendly staff, and great for kids. The food is pretty average in my opinion as far as Mexican goes, but the quantity and price are excellent. It's a great place to kick back with family and friends.

We came here for a snack. We got a chicken quesadilla and the jalapeño poppers. The food was good and fresh. I'd love to go back when I'm more hungry.

We go to El Zarape several times a year. Great Mexican food- and a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Large portions, Excellent service. They will even help you practice your Spanish if you ask! They also offer take-out.

Moved from NC 3 years ago and it was one of our favorites. Just as good as we remember. Recommend the enchilada suizas. Sangria was not bad!

We visit here when we come on vacation. Went 2 nites & both times were good. The salsa is very good, reminds me of our favorite Mexican Resturant we eat at every Sunday back home, Mi Patron. Resturant is clean and service was good. No complaints here. Grandson had a soft taco, very good, fajitas are food as well.

Been here 5-ish times because I keep thinking it was an off day Positive - pretty decent fresh margarita if you ask for it. Cheap Negative - servers are consistently bad they don't seem to care - menu way too big to have good quality food roughly 170+ items - always left disappointed - horrific hygiene standards and quality Worth... We chose this place based on recommendations from friends . We were seated promptly and the both was dirty . We we ordered and food was pretty band and not the authentic Mexican food I anticipated. We will not return

It's okay, your normal Mexican restaurant. Steak fajitas was good. Their salsa has a little kick, but good. Nothing spectacular, but if you want Mexican food and you're on the island, then it's a nice spot.
