The food was pretty good, we had the specials and they were good but not the best. A bit pricey for a sports bar atmosphere that's just a bit tired.

A worthy option in Emerald Isle. While our service was a little slow there was a table of 14 that had just sat down before us. We all had seafood and had plenty to take home in a box. In general, the staff worked hard almost as if they were the owners. Given the choices of places to eat in... More

Spent a week working in the area and chose to eat here twice. It is a little dark inside, has a very small bar area and short on TV's as compared to a lot of sports bars, but it has great food and good prices. We ate there on a Tuesday night and they were full around 6:00 but the... More

Have been here the last couple years when we vacation, but this year was horrible. We sat at the bar, bartender complained about how busy she was, but the place was far from full. Took forever to get our food. New England Clam Chowder was the worst, all I could taste was salt and bacon. I ordered wings, which weren't... More

Ballyhoo's is VERY basic and VERY loud. Minimum ambiance, but comfortable enough (if you don't mind the noise). It's basically a bar. I would not take children there. We did, however, have good food. We had burgers with everything and they were good with a wonderful grill taste. There are lots of options for sides. I chose asparagus which was... More

We went to watch football, and had great food. Not sure I'd go there if football wasn't on but a good time was had by all. Great burgers!

i've only been here once (summer of 2011) but it was fun. we went a little on the later side and there weren't really any sports on (other than baseball) but they had a good amount of tvs and a decent beer selection for a beach bar. the food was pretty decent (thankfully they were still serving late) and so...
