You may dismiss this as a bar/restaurant and not try the seafood. You would be missing out! We had the best seafood (not cooked in our own cottage kitchen) on the island, at Flipperz. So good we went back the next day. The seafood section of the menu is very limited, but it is DELICIOUS. We had flounder, crab cakes... More

We stopped in for breakfast on our way out of town. The food wasn't bad, but it was nothing special. Our waitress was nice but distracted; she kept forgetting things. I guess my biggest gripe was that it took twenty minutes for our simple pancakes, sausage, and eggs type of order to come out. Not bad, but I don't see... More

Our last night in EI, my wife and I treated the family. Beef and seafood, and chicken were all ordered. Nothing but thumbs up from our finicky family. We were there in September and we still had to wait to be seated - 'nuff said.

Very good inexpensive house wines. Same with beers. The burgers were good and you could add all the toppings you wanted. I had grilled special beef tips chicken and shrimp over mashed potatoes . The portion was generous and very nicely cooked. Just a bit oily for me. Nice atmosphere not stuffy could come with kids and it would be... More

This place is nothing to look at. It's loud, cramped and the décor is questionable? BUT THE FOOD IS GREAT! I had grilled tuna with asparagus. Cooked mid rare and seasoned with a touch of Old Bay. My meal came with two huge tuna steaks and it was too much for one person to eat. Another in our party had... More

This was our first and last visit to Flipperz. The food was so-so and the very place was quite small and crowded. The décor is inviting but that is the only positive thing I can say. Outside is where the partiers hang out with live music.

It was okay but not a very large menu. Prices were fair and a cute gift shop next door. The air conditioner was on full throttle..went outside to warm up after breakfast.

Too often, restaurants at the beach or other places that have a lot of tourists are lacking when it comes to service. They seem to think since there will be a 'new crowd' in next week, it doesn't matter if the customer is happy today. That is not true here. They really seem to care. The place was pretty busy,... It was okay. Very tiny, very cramped. Not cheap by any means. Hit us with a mandatory 18% gratuity for seven people. Won't be back. Better places to eat.

This is a small place but the food is always good. It may seem a little pricey but I have found the lunch specials worth the money and effort. I always get good service. I would go early or late for lunch. This place is busy in the off season. That should be a clue as whether they are pretty... More
