Good Italian Food

Atmosphere is relatively nice. The restaurant is always chilly, so take a sweater. Does NOT serve alcohol which is a plus for me and my family!

I'm vegan so it's sometimes VERY hard to fine places that let me order more than just potatoes and salad. They offer a vegetarian version on about every dish. Subs, spaghetti, Stromboli, Calzone, Veggie Burger. My husband eats meat and he loves all the dishes he had tried as well. To do this review I have to select when I... More

A friend of ours hyped this restaurant as being excellent authentic Italian and being in the area we drove out of our way to give it a try. The building is a former Hardy's and still has the non functioning drive through window next to the entrance. I thought about getting back in the car but we were hungry and... More

Went for a quick lunch while passing thru Elkin. Delighted by excellent friendly service and a very clean restaurant. We only had a lunch-size pizza and two side salads. The pizza was very good (it's all about the tomato sauce, isn't it?) because the tomato sauce was very good. The side salads were nothing to brag about--mostly a dark green... More

Great lunch or dinner option in a small town. They have excellent pizza, Stromboli and wings. Haven't tried anything there I wasn't happy with.

Even though this is an Italian restaurant, there is a large selection to choose from that is not necessarily Italian in origin. Everything I have tried over various visits has been good, and I have never been disappointed. This restaurant does not serve wine or any alcohol, and is family friendly.

I have eaten here numerous times and have NEVER been disappointed. They have a wonderful selection and one of the BEST pizzas in town. If you get a salad you MUST try the "Mazzini's Sweet" dressing!!!!

We had lunch here on Sunday of last week and are happy to report we were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located in an old fast food restaurant building. It has been nicely renovated into a quaint little Italian restaurant. We were nervous about the service. We arrived at opening only to find one hostess/server working. It took a... More

Excellent food at reasonable prices. Have tried almost everything on the menu and have yet to find something that was bad. LOVE the Tuxedo Truffle Cheesecake!

While traveling through North Carolina, we walked into this restaurant because it was advertised by our hotel. We were seated immediately early on a Friday night, but the restaurant began to fill shortly after we arrived. Most of the patrons appeared to be local. The food was good. The salads were adequate, although the lettuce seemed old. My husband enjoyed... More
