I would recommend eating here. It's nothing fancy but the food is good and very affordable. We had two dinners iced tea and dessert for $30. Staff was friendly and prompt. If I was in the area I would stop here again. The business name changed to Prime Thai.

My husband and I were looking for something different and fresh on a business trip to Elkin and Dewey's did not disappoint! I had the Thai wonton soup to start and my husband had the spring rolls. The flavor development in the broth was amazing and my husband took no time devouring the spring rolls. For our main course I... More

We got in around 9:00 and quickly scanned the internet for food options...what a delight to find a Thai restaurants only 7 miles away. We called to be sure they were still serving....and they told us they were soon closing...but if we did carry out, they would help us out. I got the basil rolls and lemon grass soup...perfect. My... Recently, we "rediscovered" Deweys. The food is consistently tasty, fresh and a good value. We make it a point to eat here at least once a week and are never disappointed.

This place is located in a small town in rural North Carolina. The outside isn't much to look at (looks like an old Dairy Queen or something like that). And yet ... this is some of the best Thai food I've ever had, and I really like Thai restaurants. What a hidden gem! If you are ever near Elkin, stop... More

Ordered the takeout and was remarkably suprised on how good the dish was...Spring Rolls were crisp and not greasy, which is how I like them. Will return here again and eat inside since the food was great. Only gave it 3 stars but it could be a 4 star.

We have been regular carry-out customers since 2009 but over time we noticed the portions getting smaller and smaller. The curry dish containers ended up being filled up only half-way. That was no value at $9-11 per dish depending on the protein. We stopped buying from them for almost 2 years when we decided to try again a few months... More

At lunch, one Pad Thai (with pork), and one dish with beef, broad noodles, and green onions whose name escapes me. Both very tasty, with fresh & complex flavors. There was also a starter: chicken and rice soup and a small spring roll. Both were good. The soup had intense flavor. Price was very modest for the quantity & quality... More
