My husband and I stopped in tonight for supper, the place was full, so we decided to eat in the bar since they had tables open. The service was excellent, the lady promptly greeted us with a big friendly smile, told us about the special (chicken parmesan ), although that sounded good, we really wanted a steak, so she recommended... I went to Dodge City last night and ordered the beef tips, topped with peppers and onions. They were amazing! By far the best i've eaten anywhere, they even use filet minion for the tips! The price and service was excellent, i'll definatly be back!

My family and I recently on a trip out of town, had to go through Elkin, N.C. We saw Dodge City Steakhouse, which looked pretty busy, so we decided to stop. Once we were inside we were greeted with a warm fire and smiling faces. Everyone from the host to our server was very kind and patient with us since... More

I brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary and I must say that overall we loved it. Our waitress made us feel comfortable and made sure my picky girlfriend was satisfied. The food was great.. I had the filet mignon & it was very tender and had a nice flavor.. My girlfriend had the blackened chicken penne and she ate... More

Ate at Dodge City day after Thanksgiving. Everthing was amazing but the BBQ ribs were out of this world fall off the bone. Smoke perfectly, awesome sauce and meaty. These should be entered into a competition. Will definitely be back for more.

We went on a Sun. Nite at 7p.,plenty of time to dine before their 8pm closing time. While we were dining, the staff, at 7:30p, started putting chairs up on tables right near us, making us feel rushed. One waitress stopped at the table near us and emptied her apron of tips and receipts and sorted thru them. Our waitress... More

Service and food is consistently good. They are usually crowded on weekends but you can sit in bar area with no wait it there is a table free

We have eaten here many times due to lack of decent local restaurants close by. I can say the food can be very good but not consistently so. The real problem is the service. There are one or two good staff but 70% of them are just plain bad. They rarely ask if you need anything. When the food arrives... More

I am not from Elkin and did not have a clue where to eat. Luckily, my buddy and his wife knew the area and we all went to Dodge City Steak house. What a great choice. The food was great. I got the beef tips and my wife got a 1/2 rack of ribs. The house dressing (apple cider vinaigrette)... More
