Sorry, we'd like to give it a higher rating but a self-service deli with a limited menu sounds easy but there was a confusing selection of signs explaining the sides and drinks. It was unclear that we could also order from the cold case for a side. The sandwiches were good but then we discovered we had to bus our... More

If you cannot eat at Shelton Vineyard, then I would say eat here. I felt the food was solid, the service sloppy. They were not busy-the weather was rainy, but we still had to ask and wait for things. I had a mixed green salad with goat cheese and a fig balsamic dressing that was very good. They struggled with... More

I first visited this restaurant 5 years ago on a wine trip through Yadkin Valley. It was a surprising treat - here in the middle of this little ghost town, a wonderful restaurant with exposed brick, decadent menu, exploding with atmosphere and great service. We got friendly with the sommelier who helped us make the best choices in wine and... More

We stayed in Elkin while touring the Yadkin Valley Vineyards for our anniversary week and had dinner here twice! Everyone we asked recommended this restaurant and it did not let us down! The food was impeccably cooked (scallops were my favorite!) Romantic patio seating area. We thoroughly enjoyed!!

My husband and I had been to this place a year ago and were looking forward to going back. We were in town with friends and all went for dinner. What a huge disappointment!!! No where near as good as it was the last time we were there. Had a reservation, but when we arrived they seemed a little confused... More

We recently had lunch at this restaurant while we were touring vineyards. All sandwiches and salads are made fresh when ordered. The artisan bread is also made locally. In addition, they have a wonderful selection of local wine and canned goods. The service was quick and very friendly. It's amazing when you have service with a smile!!! I highly recommend... More

We spent the day touring wineries with friends and had made a reservation at 21 & Main on the recommendation of the Laurel Gray winery owner. It was the perfect place to end the day. The building is historic and the decor is interesting with the original freight elevator as a centerpiece and wine bar upstairs. Service was excellent. We... More

My boyfriend and I went to dinner there last weekend while we were in town visiting wineries. It was an overnight trip for Charlotte and in researching ran across this place. It was absolutely delicious!!! The waitress and service were great! She explained to us how the menu works and how the entrees are really big enough for more than... More

Driving from Carlisle, PA to Charleston, SC we chose Jonesville as our stopping place because of its proximity to 21&Main. We had a choice of restaurant or wine bar and chose the wine bar. We got upstairs to find it almost empty which suited us fine because we got to ask lots of questions. "Good" were the the drinks, a... More

For a small town restaurant Twenty One gives you Big City Taste...The Owners are great folks who have made the menu proper for all wallet sizes..But REMEMBER you get what you pay for and this is FINE dining...My Ma would be jealous as this is the only place who has ever made Brussel Sprouts so succulent that I would eat...
