BEST donut!

There is not a whole lot in this town. The burger king (where I had been assigned for the day) is beyond slow (it was in Sept 2015) and there is not a lot of choices. I got there early so I could get a donut. It was an x in a circle. It was so good! Not for anyone... read more

Purchased a chocolate cream cheese icing cake and waited all day to grab a bite. When I finally sat down long enough, I cut a slice and took a bite. The cake was so dry and icing barely had cream cheese to taste. Not worth the trip or money I spent. Obviously, the cake was not fresh. Very disappointing.

It's a doughnut shop - despite the other reviews, please do not expect anything that is remotely like a croissant in here!

I work for the entire Cape Fear Valley Health System and whenever I make rounds at Bladen County Hospital I make it a point to stop at Burney's! I absolutely love it! Their croissants are to die for! I highly recommend it!

A wonderful little bakery tucked away in the small town of Elizabethtown. Their croissants are to die for! They have a nice selection of pastries, cakes, and pies. They also serve breakfast and lunch.
