Good, wholesome Mexican food

This is a small restaurant that gives generous portions and is very family friendly. The number of cars in the parking lot tell you how good the food is.

Against my husband's better judgement, I decided to follow TripAdvisor's rating. This place was not just ugly and cramped, but dirty, too. My husband,'s "burrito grande" was soggy. My son chose two single tacos; each had two greasy, 4" tacos topped with a tbsp. of meat. My "carnitas" were fine although the rice and beans portion was small. To end... More

We ate here with a family group of seven. The restaurant building was not anything special, and at one end a modular structure was used as a store. The two waitresses worked hard serving all the tables and got everything 100% right with our orders. The food was hot and delicious.

I have probably passed this little place hundreds of times before I was looking on Trip Advisor and saw all the positive posts, so I decided to give it a try. I am extremely glad I did. This place is not much to look at, they have a latin store and about a 10 table restaurant. The walls are thick... More

Went here today and arrived at 11:30 as they fill up quickly. It took a while to get our order as our poor server was doing everything. (serving food, busing tables, cashier, etc.) You get my point. My food didn't come out exactly as I had ordered and my husband's did not get the complete lunch. It was good but not... More

I have traveled across this country and as usual the small family restaurants are the best. This is true of this place. Carnitas came apart with a fork and full of flavor. Chips and salsa fresh. Friend's dish was equally as good. Will definitely be back!!

I recently relocated here from AZ. Didn't think I'd ever find anything other than standard Mexican fair that was ok. WAY surprised at this place. Salsa - excellent, rice and beans - way above average, carnitas - best I've ever had. The hot sauces were good as well. Combine all of that with $2.25 beers, and it's a winner all... More

I came home from my southern California college and found this place - the food is so authentic to what I experienced in family homes. I look forward to coming here every time I visit home!

I marked excellent based on the food not appearance of building,,,and they are moving to a new and larger place. The food is like being in Mexico as I have been many times. Like with any place in Mexico the mole and dish varies with the region of Mexico. I came here when they first opened and will return any... More
