We went to Cypress Creek recently for a special dinner w/ our extended family & we all had a lovely time! Between the eight of us, we tried several different meals & we were all extremely happy with them! We had their crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, lemon & thyme custed rockfish, quesadilla & the bourbon ribeye steak. All were... More

Bobby, the owner was very attentive as he walked around and spoke with guests. He was super pleasant and appreciative of our business. Our waitress who had just moved to the area was awesome!!! Friendly, great smile and quite accommodating! It was worth every penny and not expensive!

I travel to Elizabeth City about two time a year but this is the first time I dined at the Cyprus Creek Grill. The food is excellent, the staff is very friendly and responsive and the prices are very reasonable. Good food and good value.

The catfish and shrimp are always good. The sea scallops blackened over pasta is incredible. The view of the river is nice. Bobby (the owner) is good with a guitar or surfboard and will stop by your table to make sure all is well. Reservations are good if celebrating a special occasion since they are full sometimes.

We were recently visiting Elizabeth City for the first time, and Cypress Creek Grill came highly recommended by the owners of the B & B where we stayed. My husband and I both had the rockfish and crab special, which was well-prepared and delicious. Our second night in town we returned with a friend from FL who is a native... More

We frequently go to Cypress Grill for nights out and visited during the Potato Festival recently. The meal was very good, as usual, but we were a bit surprised that the restaurant had run out of potatoes during the Potato Festival. The owner said it was unusual and we enjoyed a good laugh about that.

The location was just around the corner from our B&B in historic downtown Elizabeth City. It was a short walk to the scenic waterfront.

Dined here while on a boat trip passing through Elizabeth City. Both the food and the service were excellent.

The ambiance is lacking. The food is consistent. The owner is almost always there and that adds a nice touch to the restaurant. I have eaten there dozens of times and it's always what I expect. Good service, good food for a fair price and if you are lucky you can get a table that overlooks the water!
