Really good food

The food is really very good. Unless you have a huge appetite, think about sharing. Wait staff is very attentive. Kitchen seemed a little slow but, we were not in a hurry. Then bacon wrapped shrimp & oyster (SOB) is outstanding.

Pan fried oysters and fish were first rate. The glass of house sauvignon blanc was surprisingly good. We finished up with an excellent slice of key lime pie. Not a pretentious restaurant, but you can expect well prepared food representative of northeastern North Carolina.

the atmosphere was good however two out of three of us were disappointing with our meal. My friend get the poor boy sandwich with shrimp way to much breading.

What a great meal! We we just passing through on our boat and were offered a 'loaner car' by our marina (Lambs--also excellent). We ran to town to the drug store and a 'bite to eat'. We funded up with an amazing dinner--fab wedge salad with unique walnut dressing, perfectly cooked scallops, delicious Mexican corn chowder -- plus wonderful service... More

Coming from the mountains in WNC we had the desire to eat fresh seafood. We had a great meal with fresh and tasty seafood. OUr server was friendly and attentive. We had a nice chat with the owner outside the grill when we were leaving.

Excellent butterflied fried shrimp. Homemade cocktail and especially tartar sauce was fabulous. Service very good, reasonable prices. Make sure to take an after dinner walk across the street at the municipal marina and park.

We have eaten here numerous times and I've never rated it!!We always come back. I don't think you can find a better steak, burger, fajita's or even a nice slab of Tuna. It really is great food. We have only had one experience where it was necessary to send the food back, and the owner was extremely gracious about it.... More

This was our first trip to the Cypress Creek Grill, but it won't be our last. We arrived early on a Tuesday evening, hoping for the best. We were not disappointed, and the prices were right. Summer, the new bartender, was gracious and professional. We chose the petite plates menu, although the evening's specials were enticing. I had fried oysters,... More

I like this place because they have a half-menu, or a smaller portion option. I sat at the bar and, who I am assuming is the owner, was hanging out talking to some patrons. I asked for a martini and my bartender made it just the way I asked, but he corrected her because she used olive juice from the... More

We went for date night, didn't have reservations but there was room at the bar for the four of us. The lady who greeted us suggested reservations on the weekend just to be sure to get a seat. We ordered the shrimp & crab dip and the s.o.b's, shrimp & oysters wrapped in bacon as our appetizers, both were delicious.... More
