Food was excellent - seafood sampler appetizer highly recommended. Everything was good including the service.

While the interior of this restaurant is spacious, simple, and enjoyable, and while the view of the water is beautiful, the true star at Cypress Creek Grill is the food! Anticipate mature dishes like bacon wrapped scallops and lemon and thyme crusted fish. The menu is varied with dishes for seafood lovers as well as grilled favorites. My wife ordered... More

Cypress Creek Grill was a great place to take a customer for lunch. The restaurant provides a nice comfortable atmosphere to sit, talk and eat. The service was helpful and friendly. I never had Hatteras style Clam Chowder, but it was a very good start to the meal. For my main course I ordered the petite, portion entree Crab Cakes... More

Very friendly, but one would think thay the menu would include fresh & local seafood. Unfortunately, nothing on the menu was fresh and even the Rockfish tasted as though it was freezer burnt.

The food was good and the service tolerable, But the owner is a complete Jack he came around shook hands at several tables came to mine looked me straight in the eye and kept walking, stopped at the next table and started talking to the patrons. Boy did i feel wanted. then to top it off a little gray haired... More

I go often and never have I had a bad experience. I love that they have full AND half sized portions. The food is solid and reasonably prices the staff and service are seamless. It's really a nicely run restaurant. The owner is often there which is a nice touch and if you are a boater or from out of... More

Just off Water Street in downtown Elizabeth City is one of the best restaurant renovations of an old store front to be found. The food is quite good, especially their Thursday Night Special: Brisket! Never mind needing a knife to cut it; this is so tender, a fork is all you need. If you sit near the front there's a... More

The food is really good at Cypress Creek. The prices are mid-range and the service is excellent. They are extremely busy during lunch hours but dinner hours are more relaxed and the restaurant noise is more subdued. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

Usually we really enjoy our time at this restaurant, but we had an annoying wait staff who kept asking if we were "ok"... like they were there to "entertain and converse with us" rather than just bring us food. We were on a date, and really enjoy being left alone, so that we can talk un-interrupted, but they make you... More

We went to Cypress Creek recently for a special dinner w/ our extended family & we all had a lovely time! Between the eight of us, we tried several different meals & we were all extremely happy with them! We had their crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, lemon & thyme custed rockfish, quesadilla & the bourbon ribeye steak. All were... More
