We started coming to Sidney's when it first opened. We have seen it grow and mature into a nice restaurant in downtown Elizabeth City. This visit was on a First Friday Arts Walk in Elizabeth City. So Sidney's was busy. My partner ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and the Shrimp and Grits for the entrée. He really enjoyed the Asian... More

10:30 and we had not eaten breakfast. Decided to try Sidney's since several months ago we enjoyed their lunch. Sausage & biscuit gravy was just enough but hubs prefers more sage in his sausage. My breakfast burrito was super. The sausage was fried with some crispy pieces that gave it a special crunch. Burrito was stuffed full with eggs, potatoes,... More

I enjoyed the bistro burger and the wyatt burger. The food was good and the setting was quiet for lunch and the service was friendly. The waitress was knowledgable on the menu. The restaurant used white paper for table covers. My young kids enjoyed coloring on them. The menu was reasonably priced. I would go back soon.

The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It was in my opinion the best filet I have had in Elizabeth City. The service was prompt and friendly without being too overbearing so we could enjoy our meal and there is something about how small this restaurant is that makes it feel cozy and relaxing. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone... More

Sydney's Cafe and Bistro served perfectly cooked blackened tuna sandwich and a lamb gyro filled with cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, and tzatziki. The large side of homemade chips were crispy and salted to perfection. One server took our order and was the main person to care for us during our lunch; however, the owner/manager stopped by to ask if we... More

The wrap and salad was amazing. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. This restaurant was recommended by a store clerk at the Footprints Christian store and we have since recommended it to others

My husband and I regularly eat breakfasts, lunches and dinners at Sidney's and have always been happy with the portion and the service. Even on busy First Friday Art walk nights we can count on a great dining experience.

Oh. my. GOODNESS. Ate dinner here two nights in a row...both meals were yummy. Good wine list...delicious food...and they took my dietary restrictions seriously. Altogether delightful. I'll be back the next time in Elizabeth City!

My family and I went to Sidney's to try a new place in town to eat. We went around 8:00 and there was a half hour wait to be seated - no problem. We were seated at 8:25 and our drink orders were taken. When our server returned to ask if we were ready for our meal orders, we responded... More
