A cool brunch place near Duke. Its a standard breakfast menu so nothing earth shattering, but... the bloody mary was great. The grits are very creamy and delicious. Eggs, Bacon, Omlette, and Burrito all cooked perfectly. Enjoyed it. Cant ask for anything more.

I have eaten here many times and loved it. Locally sourced food, menu changes as supplies allow, I have always liked it.

Watts Grocery remains my go to brunch for special occasions and one agin had an enjoyable meal. I loved the shrimp and grits while others enjoyed the Frits bowl, fried chicken and pancakes. Good service and comfortable simple but stylish environment. Highly recommend.

Watts Grocery has been sourcing local food for a long time and it is consistently excellent. The hushpuppies are among the best in the South! The menu is varied and always includes a good selection of locally sourced foods. I had fried oysters which were amazing. My husband had the Po Boy Shrimp and Oyster sandwich which was also amazing.... More

This restaurant is an okay place for a casual meal but we found it to be not as good as the last time we visited.. The soup, a rendition of Chile, was pretty good but on the spicy side as were some other items on the menu. If one enjoys their food on the hot spicy side, you may enjoy... More

Warm, friendly, attentive service. Cozy, welcoming ambience. Great tasting food. There's was something to appeal to everyone's taste, and if there wasn't, the kitchen was ready to make you something to your taste. I had the shrimp and grits, which rivaled my gold standard served at O.C. White's in St. Augustine. It was so good, I was tempted to lick... More

We went to Watt's for NYE dinner, and were disappointed. The food was good, but did not warrant the steep prices. I ordered the flounder and my husband ordered the ribeye. We expected much more from the reviews that we read. Service was friendly/fast. Perhaps it's only really good as a brunch place.

Lunch is reasonable, dinner a little more. Menu changes but there are always some standards. Can be noisy for dinner.

First visit to Watts Grocery for an early dinner on New Years Eve. While there was a special New Years menu we ordered from the regular fare. Roast pork loin was prepared and presented exquisitely. Side items were deliciously done. The hush puppies were a unique twist on a southern favorite. Overall service, food and atmosphere were excellent.

The staff were very helpful when ordering. They usually have some unique dishes that are delicious. The baked good are yummy too. Fresh ingredients are used in all their menu items.
