Went in at 7pm on a Saturday and the place was packed. That is always a good sign. We had no reservations and had to wait about 20 minutes. The service was a little slow but it was to be expected coming at that hour with so many customers. The food was plenty and tasted great. We opted for tapas... More

Our experience was a bit different. I was not impressed. From the Parker house rolls not homemade, expensive, very ordinary garlic bread to the bland spaghetti carbonara with very fatty prosciutto, I can say I was very disappointed. There are way too many very good places to eat in Durham to settle for mediocre.

My wife and I enjoyed this restaurant prior to taking in a Duke game at Cameron Indoor. The menu selection was diverse, the prices were reasonable, and the food and service were very good. The wine list was a little overpriced for what was offered but this is a nice choice while in Durham.

A couple friends and I dined here on the Friday evening before Christmas. The restaurant was packed, so we knew this was a good sign! We were greeted by one of the wait staff who asked if we had a reservation. We did not, so we decided to wait 30 mins. for a table. There is no bar and there... More

This is a wonderful place to go relax, enjoy a delicious meal, and let the staff take care of you! The prices are reasonable for lunch and dinner, and the portions are just right.

A fantastic dining experience. The owner is great. Our server was so attentive and helpful with dinner choices. The ambiance is wonderful. Intimate and quiet. Our party of 4 shared tapas, and 2 entrees. It was all great. The lasagna was to die for. The scallops were large and perfectly cooked. We tried octopus, chirzo, and bruschetta. Again, all were... Stumbled by this place. Had planned to try the pricey place next door, but ended up at Melo. SO glad I had lunch here instead. Gyros, small Greek salad (although not at all small) and a glass of wine for under $20. Wonderful service, ample portions and absolutely delicious food. This place is a Mediterranean home run.

Our group of five had a good meal, but we didn't find anything that amazing. Liked the upbeat feel of the place and service was good enough. We just felt our dishes were American interpretations of a mix of Italian and Greek dishes. Nothing was bad, nothing was outstanding. Parker house rolls at beginning of meal didn't set a great... The perfect environment, the perfect food and the perfect hosts for a superb dinner! The "conchas a la parmesana" are a must appetizer! We got the special lasagna and the spaghetti alla putanesca. Both were delicious! And the desserts are the best!! The chocolate hazelnut mousse!! and probably the best tiramisu i have ever tried! If you have not tried... More

We were here visiting Duke and needed a nice restaurant within close distance but with good food. The lasagna was so delicious, subtle, but not boring. The lamb appetizer was so interesting as a tapas portion and very tasty. I do not know what other reviewers are complaining about service, everyone was very attentive. The wine list had many offerings. When in... More
