I must admit that the primary reason I go to Tomato Jake's is it's local and the people who work there are so friendly. Is it reasonably priced? Probably not. It is certainly not New York style pizza and as good as their pie's are they are still more expensive than a similar pie in NYC. We had a large... More

Have eaten here several times, since I work in the area. The pizza is great, made fresh, daily. There's always creative pizza combinations on display, and they offer a by-the-slice combo. I also appreciate the fact that Tomato Jake's offers a discount to those of us who work nearby. Highly recommend this place for the food and fun atmosphere!

I really wanted to try this place and when I did we were not happy at all. Service was really bad and they were not busy al all. Pizza was average and not worth the price. For the location I expected a lot better service and taste.

Stayed at hotel close by. Ate here 3 times during my stay. Food is really good and service was great. Have football games on every Sunday. Fun atmosphere. Wraps were really good

This is a family favorite! We stop in all the time to have lunch; the pizza and calzones are great and the whole place I clean and cheerful. They also have a few old fashioned type video games like pac man and pinball.

We have now ordered pizza twice from Jake's and we find the pizza to be excellent, but a little pricey. We do not order pizza too often but after sampling a few pizzas in the area we have found Jake's to be one of the best. I enjoy the thinner crust pizzas and that is what Jake's has. Jake's is... This place always seems full, but we've been several times and were really disappointed with the food each time. Just nothing great or special about the pizza.

It was definitely the right decision to forgo the national pizza chains when looking for delivery pizza! We were staying at the La Quinta on Westpark and needed something to eat late in the evening, but didn't want to run out and pick something up. Tomato Jakes provided a delicious, hot, tasty, gourmet pizza quickly and with a pleasant person... More

I prefer Tomato Jakes pizza and menu to the other options in Southwest Durham (Randy's and Alfredo's). The menu has some interesting combos, the calzones are good, and they serve beer, so its good for a quick dinner with friends if hitting the movies, or grabbing a lunch while out shopping.
