Very Good!

For better or worse, I'm a pizza snob based on my upbringing in NYC and New Haven (best pizza in the USA...btw!). So I'm particular to say the least. Other than Toro's in downtown Durham (GREAT PIZZA), I had stopped eating pizza all together. But I'm glad to report that Bocci's has allowed me an... read more

We often stop by Bocci when traveling through Durham, even if it's out of the way. We will get a pizza to eat there and one to take with us. It is divine. I especially like the Nonna's pizza; if you like thick crusts, go for the Chicago instead.

I wasn't expecting a lot coming from an area with a powerhouse pizza place. However, Bocci has turned out to be a real gem. Several different types of pizza, including some feigned deep dish (not really Chicago deep dish, but larger than your average crust and layered like a Chicago pie). Even if the Chicago-style didn't meet the expectation of... More

Tried this pizza as it was close and was pleasantly surprised. We tried a net York and a Chicago style pizza. Was very impressed with the New York style, no so with the Chicago style. Having had Chicago pizza I thought that the attempt to add lots of cheese fell short of what a Chicago pizza is. It was tasty... More

We love both locations. We ate at the Durham store the other day and had a wonderful experience. The staff are great. We love the Penne alla Vodka and the monte mara. it is a great place to sit outside if you prefer!!!!!

We were in for a quick visit and had to go back here! The food was as delicious as we remember it! The 14" Chicago style pizza was phenomenal. It fed 5 children and had a couple of slices leftover which we couldn't leave behind.and Every bite of my husband's Chicken Parm was devoured! Our friend raved about the Bada... More

I have been here several times now and each time has been a good experience. The NY Pizza had a nice thin crust and was very good. The Chicken Parm is a basic that is done very well. The portion size is quite large. The service is good as well. This is a great go to restaurant in the Southpoint... More

We were visiting Durham for the Easter holiday and tried Bocci because we love Italian. It was Friday so we all had Lenten entrees of various fishes. I have to say the Mahi and Salmon were excellent. The ravioli and pasta were pretty good. I loved the spinach cheese ball appetizer! Unfortunately the service was slow so it was a... More

Have had a number of good meals here. Tonight we came back after year away. Ordered a chicken Marsala and a seafood pasta. Now we love good food. But the sauces were so salty and overly thickened that we only nibbled. What a shame. I would not recommend Bocci anymore.

I was craving sicilian style but when they did not have it, I settled on NY Style and it was really good. Love this foldable pizza all cheesy and saucy, but not too saucy. mmmm.
