All the Mellow Mushroom Pizza places in North Carolina are great. Pizza is fresh and lots to eat. Very kid friendly place and can accommodate large groups very well. No doubt we will return.

I especially like the location of this Mellow Mushroom. It's in an interesting and historic part of town. The pizzas are delicious, but very expensive. They do have gluten-free pizza, which I really appreciate for my friends with wheat allergies. The atmosphere is fun, and the service is excellent.

Great service and great food. A nice place to share time with good friends. I have returned on other occasions and each time experienced the same great time.

We went to a couple of Mellow Mushroom Pizza's during our stay in NC and our favorite was the one in Durham. The pizza is great and there is a good selection of craft beer. The waiter had an Icelandic/Scandinavian name but we forgot (and were a little shy) to ask him if he was from Iceland (like us).

Pizza not bad for the south. Yuppie version. Good selection of beer. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place to stop after walking the tobacco trail.

Visited this place for the 1st time with my in laws back in Oct 2011 and fell in love with the place. Pizzas were awesome and fresh. I loved that I could get a small pan pizza just the way I like it. Great family place, can get busy at times but worth the wait. Cannot wait to go back... More

First time visit. We went with friends who have visited before. We really enjoyed the pizza. We also had the pretzels as an appetizer. The four of us each had a different pizza. I had the Mighty Meaty Pizza and my partner had the Philosopher pizza. Both were excellent. Our server Macille was perfect. Friendly and really cheerful.
