If I lived in Durham, Nosh would be my "third space." The place outside of work and home where I could be comfortable and well-fed. Everything about this place is awesome - from its many community-supporting endeavors (animal adoption cards instead of table order numbers) and fundraising drives to its friendly staff to its home-y layout. I've been twice in... More

Today was my first visit to Nosh. My husband and I stopped in for a rare date lunch and were treated to a great lunch. They were flexible with the menu when I asked for a different bread and made into a panini. The curried couscous was excellent and fresh.

Since starting to work at Duke in 2010, Nosh has been a wonderful place to visit for lunch time. It even got better when the owners opened a second cafe at NOSH at the Jo Rae Café on Duke campus (Trent Semans. Center, close to the medical library) Nosh food is really tasty and one actually can eat healthy adn... More

Bottom Line: Tasty sandwiches, soups and salads in a fun, eclectic atmosphere. A good casual place to grab lunch with a friend or coworker that’s a step up from fast food and restaurants like TGIF, but not the place for a business lunch. Service can be improved; they are during busy times, charge for tap water cups and staff members... More

If you want McDonald's - this is NOT your style. This is healthy (salads, flatbreads, wraps). Creative (a variety of meats, vegetables, spices) and a reasonable price. The people who worked there - yeah, they have "grunt jobs" - yet they take pride in their work and recognize that humans aren't necessarily best served by the fast food chains in... More

Tucked in by duke universities west campus nosh is a great find. They have lots of inventive item on the menu each day. And they also have some consistent offering you can turn to if you want an old delicious favorite. The people that work there are mostly nice. A few pockets of less than friendly. Dining room is very... More

Nosh is tucked away behind some apartments on Erwin Road - it may be difficult to stumble upon, but it is well worth the effort to seek out. Nosh serves high-end casual fare - there are a collection of sandwiches, salads, wraps, flatbreads, etc. What sets Nosh apart from its competitors is its outstanding quality and attention to detail. Every... More

Great Food that is fast, convenient and priced well. We had a late breakfast here on a Saturday. The egg on a muffin with cheese was the best I've ever tasted. My husband had 2 pancakes which he could barely finish.

Visited my son recently at Duke and tried this place because it was one of his favorites. Nice selection of omelets and sandwiches that utilize fresh, local ingredients. If you like pancakes then you are in luck. The pancakes are the size of dinner plates and very tasty! The location is right across the street from the campus. Beware that... More
