Great food and selection, close to Duke U

Wandered over here for lunch on a recent trip to Duke and was quite happy with the result. A pretty extensive menu of sandwiches, panini, wraps, salads, etc. greet you. My wrap was great, as were the home-made chips on the side. Would definitely come back again!

Nosh keeps things simple. A good limited menu with daily specials and a great staff. Almost always busy with Duke staff and students it remains a quality place.

I recently ate here and was appalled to see I was actually charged for tap water! I didn't realize it until I sat down and started looking at my receipt, but sure enough, there was a charge for me to drink water out of the soda fountain machine. I even double checked and they have nothing disclosing this charge. It... More

i recently dined at both branches of nosh in durham. the menu items are not the same. the corned beef and swiss sandwich served at the duke hospital campus is excellent and the ice cream sandwiches are heavenly. the erwin rd branch did not have the corned beef sandwich on the menu so I ordered the "deluca" which is described... So we're not always in Durham so when we go we like to try something different each time. Our decision was based on the reviews so I hope this helps you to not make the same mistake we did. Some of the comments said this place was for hipsters and that would be correct. Our waitress was very blah and... More

We were actually heading to another restaurant in the complex when we decided to check out Nosh's menu first. Glad we did! They have lots of interesting burgers and sandwiches as well as a handful of "proper" dinners. You order at the counter and they bring you the food. They use pictures of rescue dogs as the identifier for the... More

Service was fast & friendly and my burger was an extremely generous portion. Order the sweet potato fries, they're cut like home fries & very tasty!!

This joint is very impressive. It has great food, great flair, and the menu offers everything you could want for main course, dessert, and drinks. Its only a few short miles off 85 and I'm so glad we stopped in. I recommend the SRP pizza. It's one of the best I've had; beef, blue cheese, cream cheese, bacon, and their... More

Nosh is a classic favorite for both college kids and I guess whoever if you're Durham. They have a great and huge selection. They have games while you wait which is so much fun. My favorite are their wraps made fresh so yummy. Plus they are really good with my palette. They also have great pizza and bakery. So good... More

Nosh is conveniently located in a plaza close to Duke University. On a given day you will see students (undergrads and graduates) as well as families, and the atmosphere is very casual. The best (but busiest) time to go is during the brunch hours on weekends; they have great value, and great-tasting specials during this time, and their regular menu... More
