Quick service and good beef brisket

First time here in a couple years till Friday. The brisket was was good (though not hot) and the portion for the small platter was enough. The fried corn was chewy and really not edible but the brunswick stew made up for it....very good. The RTP location is only good for lunch during the week since... read more

First thing you need to know id this is not a NC BBQ joint. It does have chopped pork but the main attractions are the other types of meat. I usually get brisket or smoked turkey. Both are very good and the prices are not bad. You can pick from 1,2 or 3 meats on a platter along with 2... More

It has been about 2 years since I had eat at a Danny's but it had always been very good. I was in the neighborhood so thought I could get a great lunch. They were out of sliced pork at 12:45 on a Wednesday so I opted for the chopped. It was very finely chopped and had no flavor and... More

Gotta eat here when you're in town. This place cam highly recommended by locals. Small very casual and low key place. Best BBQ I've ever had and great service.

More Texas or Kansas City style. The meat is good as are most of the sides. Don't order their pulled pork. If you like NC BBQ you will be highly disappointed in this pork. Likewise their Bruinswick Stew leaves a lot to be desired. This restaurant is not a sit down & order place. You put your order in the... More

I eat here multiple times a month and I've been coming since it opened many years ago. The chopped pork and brisket are very good and so is the banana pudding. Arrive before noon to beat the crowd.

The good: the food was very tasty. Ribs - delicious and tender Chopped Pork - one of my kids loved it, the other thought it was ok. Baked beans - very good Stew - very good, but could have used a little kick The not so good: Limited drink selection - beer only (no wine) - but glad they had... More

Smoked, fried chicken served on prison style aluminium plates with plastic cutlery? Need I say more.

Good place for quick BBQ for lunch during the week. Prices are very reasonable and you get to pick the sauce you want.
