Took my Mom for brunch on Sunday. I had read some reviews so I was ready to wait for a table. After we sat the waiter came by with coffee very quickly and answered our questions. He was moving fast as he had a lot of table, but I never felt like he didn't have time to answer our questions.... More

The food was good, it was a party of 8 and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was great too! I will definitely return when visiting the area again.

The food is great and it's no wonder they draw a crowd. I just wish they took reservations on weekends. It is a painful process getting seated - particularly when you have small children. Once seated though, the staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is really good. I know the hostesses are busy both checking people in, getting... More

Loved the place. service was fantastic, clean bathrooms, typical breakfast grill restaurant. Absolutely no healthy choices on the menu. They could add oatmeal or fruit choice.

When I'm looking for a good breakfast too often I forget about Brigs. My inclination is to head downtown. But today I remembered and glad I did. Great no frills food, terrific service, and wonderful diner environment. No affect here other than a smile a food eating. My wife loved her pecan waffles with a side of bacon and my belly... More

Just good food, served by good wait staff at very reasonable prices. The coffee is good, the pancakes are excellent, all the food comes up looking and tasting freshly prepared, its relaxed and popular with families. Almost anything you want to order for breakfast or brunch is on this menu and if its not, they'll try! Expect to queue out... More

We were in Durham for a wedding. We wanted to find a good place for breakfast. What a find in Brigs!! Our first clue that it was a good spot was the crowd waiting for tables. Though there were lots waiting, our wait was relatively short and definitely worth it. Fabulous menu with LOTS of choices; omelettes, scrambles, speciality pancakes,... More

I had an omelette here this morning and it was the best omelette I've ever had! The coffee is also very good. Get there early to avoid the wait.
