Just good food, served by good wait staff at very reasonable prices. The coffee is good, the pancakes are excellent, all the food comes up looking and tasting freshly prepared, its relaxed and popular with families. Almost anything you want to order for breakfast or brunch is on this menu and if its not, they'll try! Expect to queue out... More

We were in Durham for a wedding. We wanted to find a good place for breakfast. What a find in Brigs!! Our first clue that it was a good spot was the crowd waiting for tables. Though there were lots waiting, our wait was relatively short and definitely worth it. Fabulous menu with LOTS of choices; omelettes, scrambles, speciality pancakes,... More

I had an omelette here this morning and it was the best omelette I've ever had! The coffee is also very good. Get there early to avoid the wait.

There are a few locations and for a good quick inexpensive breakfast this is a great choice. Kid Friendly and very good service.

Tucked in an end cap off rte 55 is your destination for a great breakfast. Line out the door was worth the 20 minute wait. Specials are rotated monthly and seasonally. Coffee hot and a pot for the table.y daughter says their home fries are the best. I had the salmon with poached eggs over English muffins. Mmmm, others blueberry... More

Went for my first visit for brunch on a weekend and had a bit of a wait as it was quite busy. We ordered the chicken and waffles and pancakes. Never did get the waffles. Delayed arrival and then it was bad, really bad. Waitress said it was some kind of new recipe, something, and they were having a lot... More

Brigs in Durham is a notorious breakfast hotspot offering an insane variety of breakfast options from their massive menu including 'baskets, benedicts, scrambles and skillets'! I ordered the Coastal Benedict (blue crab and steamed shrimp) and being somewhat leery of 'shrimp and eggs', I was allowed to substitute double crab and skip the shrimp. The amount of crabmeat (at least... More

We took the time to travel to southern Durham after church in the northern part of town on the recommendation of friends. We were happy we did. Wonderful pancakes, waffles, omelet choices. Great food with a huge selection and an attentive staff. Wish we had one closer to our part of town. We'd go every sunday!

I've eaten at this restaurant twice while in Durham, NC. Each time, the breakfasts were super. Even though there appeared to be many people waiting, we were always seated within a few minutes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Monthly specials, which actually last a month, which is a good thing if you want to try it again. Plates are large.... More
