The best !

This truly is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. The food, the service, the décor is just fantastic! The best thing I can say is this restaurant is very close to a famous restaurant in New York called Mama Leone. Do yourself a favor and go to Maggiano's!

Although we arrived at 7:30 PM at the peak of dinner we (4) were seated right away. While waiting for our order we were served home made bread with Italian butter (garlic & olive oil). Our order included a free "take home" entrée. Pricing is very reasonable ($12.95-$14.95) considering that you have a variety of entrees. Staff was friendly &... More

Maggiano's is a great place for a very good Italian meal if you happen to be at Southpoint Mall or catching a movie at the Southpoint Cinema. The service is excellent, the wait staff friendly, and the food is very tasty. Plus once you're on their email list, they're always sending you coupons or alerting you to specials. We've dined... The quality of the food is still top rate. The price points are reasonable for delicious, freshly-made-from-scratch food. Those are the good points. On the downside, there has been an increasing trend over the past several years toward a smaller menu and more "stinginess" when it comes to guest services. Prime example is the family style rules, I'm sure others... More

We LOVE Maggiano's. I recently had the pleasure of taking a girlfriend there for her birthday. We both ordered from the pasta section of the menu which included a FREE pasta meal to take home. The food was delicious -- and to also receive a free meal for another day was quite a treat. And their Tiramisu is some of... More

We went to Maggiano's for a birthday lunch last Sunday. We have been there several time for both lunch and dinner. There were 7 of us. Great variety of food and all that we have tried has been well prepared. The staff was very attentive and food was served in a timely fashion. We will be back there again.

Don't get me wrong: the restaurant is pleasant, the menu varied, service good, and the food is tasty with huge portions. But despite that I am not old, ill, or otherwise physically impaired, the amount of salt added to the food here makes some dishes difficult to eat and almost always leaves me feeling thirsty and uncomfortable for several hours... We came here with our family. We have been eating at Maggiano's in other locations for a couple of decades and as we do not live near one, try to enjoy when we are in the Durham area. The portion sizes are generous. They will happily bring you a plate and you can share if you can't decide. The wait... More

I'm italian and usually avoid italian restaurants abroad. But there were not many options suitable for a vegetarian at the Streets at Southpoint, so I decided to try. The place is simply huge, the food was good, the american wine surprisingly good for the price. I don't know if I will go there again, but if you are looking for... More
