I absolutely love this franchise. I have been to three of these so far and every one had amazing service, great food and atmosphere. This time I tried their new reduced calorie chicken parmigiana. and it was really good. could not taste the difference at all. The waiter was on top of his game with a good sense of humor,... More

On a recent trip to Durham's The Streets of Southpoint Mall, I discovered a little piece of Italy in a beautiful restaurante called Maggiano's Little Italy. This establishment is an offspring of the original Maggiano's Little Italy in Chicago, IL. I must say, if I ever get to Chicago, I will certainly be knocking on that door as well! Yes...it... More

The best thing about Maggiano's is the music they play---great old tracks by Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong. All the great singers, performers, and songwriters of the mid-20th century, really a pleasure. However, when the best thing about a restaurant is the music, it mustn't be a very good restaurant! I am at a loss to understand the... More

I'm gluten free for health reasons so was excited the Maggianos started offering GF NOODLES at no up charge. The waitress was really fried to and had clearly been trained on the gluten allergy. We both got the Italian favorites which have us a free take home meal as well. You can't beat that price! Maybe not. 5 star subtle... More

I like going here for a couple of reasons. Sure I have had better Italian food, but this is very nice for the location it is in and the price point. One of my favorite things to get when I am not in the mood for something particular is the option to get one meal there and one to go.... More

We've dined at several Maggiano's franchises throughout the US. The nice thing about that is you know what you're getting in the way of both menus and service. The Durham location has been our favorite since it first opened, not just because of location in The Streets At Southpoint mall, but mainly because it's a guilty pleasure of satisfying pasta... More

We went on Sunday evening thinking it wouldn't be to busy. It was busy, but we chose to set at a table in the bar and so got seated right away. There seems to be ample room for patrons to sit and wait for a table. I had the clam linguine with white sauce. It was very good and they... More

Maggiano's requires reservations so I do not go often, perhaps a couple of times each year. I am always very happy with the entire experience. We usually go with the fixed-price family style dinner. It includes a selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts from an excellent menu. Each item ordered is available in unlimited quantities. When a platter nears empty,... More
