Best grilled octopus by far and black velvet praline torte to die for!

I knew they are always busy so waiting for 1 hour on Thursday night did not get us too upset. (So, do get your reservations in even on a cold rainy Thursday! :)) We knew what we were waiting for: great food and music! I love the coffee, the special cookie that comes with it and desserts! We decided to... More

My husband was having surgery at Duke the next day so we chose this restaurant to have a fabulous meal before his "no food after midnight " pre-op. It was excellent in every way. The service was top notch. The NC flounder was probably the best I've ever tasted. Sorry we didn't make room for dessert.

This restaurant has been our go-to place for about 15 years. The variety of Mediterranean food has been wonderful, cooked to near perfection. Even their Caesar salad is fabulous. And the desserts are a great selection and wonderfully made. A great place to bring out-of-town friends and family. And great for business dinners as it is a wonderful atmosphere to... More

We visited Cafe Parizade last night before a show at DPAC and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and mindful of timing the meal properly so that we could leave for our show on time. We started with the tuna tartar, octopus, and butternut tortellini. Everyone RAVED about their respective appetizers. The tuna... More

We dined with four people on a busy Christmas Eve night. Our service was great. The butternut tortellini was fantastic, probably better than my main entree. The grilled octopus was okay; too much onions. I had the special whole fish which was branzino, and it was fine. Others ordered the flounder and raved of the sauce, and the angus steak... More

Stopped here for a holiday party for a good sized group (~14), though was largely disappointed. Our server was almost unfriendly at times, which made for an odd dining experience, though this may have just been the language barrier. Overall comments were that the entree dishes were extremely small and didn't make for much of a meal. The sandwiches looked... More

This Mediterranean / Italian restaurant is a short walk from the Hilton Garden Inn (Durham/University). Overall, everything was nice but overpriced. The grilled octopus appetizer was very well prepared: the outside was seared but the inside was very soft and tender, not chewy at all. As main dishes, we had the Seafood Risotto and the fresh grouper. Both dishes were... More

Went to this restaurant for a work holiday lunch, perfect setting, large table but did not feel cramped. The only downside was the parking, but the quality of the establishment far exceeded that issue. Food was incredible, staff was friendly and professional.
