I decided to take my husband to Parizade to celebrate his 31st birthday. Neither of us had been there before, and it seemed to have mostly positive reviews. Our server was Daila and she was superb with excellent attention to detail. Every empty plate and used utensil was promptly cleared from our table. We never felt rushed, and she was... More

Cafe Parizade has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Durham although I had not been there for quite some time. But I do know it has become very pricy for their dinner menu. I was surprised to find Living Social coupons for there 4-course summer tasting menu so my wife and I went Saturday evening for a special... More

My husband and I went her for our anniversary. It has a beautiful bar, inviting atmosphere, attentive staff, and lots of fresh offerings. If I had to choose a negative, it is far away from other things that downtown has to offer. For us it was perfect because we stayed at the Hilton next door.

While our waitress Michele was wonderful, I expected more from the kitchen. The Beet Salad ($9) and the Caprese Salad ($9) had much too much vinegar on them. I had the duck ($26) and asked for the sauce on the side, which the staff failed to do. My husband enjoyed his Cioppino ($29). Neither of the hosts came to our... More

A great find. Fresh offerings, fun and beautiful bar, attentive staff make up a winning combination in this little gem. Our diets are vegan/vegetarian and it is sometimes difficult to find menus that address our choices with panache….but not here! We LOVED the eggplant, and the fish that night was utterly delectable. We skipped dessert this time, but would have... More

We have eaten at Parizade numerous times and we know it's going to be a great meal with kind and helpful personal. The reservation was simple to make. The halibut was outstanding preceded by calamari. Our out of town guests were impressed with the casual atmosphere ,service and the deserts. The menu accommodated the vegetarian requests. A bit noisy .... More

We were in NC on vacation to visit my sister. The assortment of bread with dipping oil was the perfect way to start the meal and it placed on our table just before we were seated – a nice touch. The scallop crudo appetizer was very tender and a bit spicy – this is prepared like sushi. The caprese and... More

We have been here many times. You will not go wrong. They can also adapt their offerings for vegan and gluten free diets. Service is good, with a busy but pleasant atmosphere - we feel like we are not in Durham (although we like Durham fine!)

Normally not a fan of outdoor dining...too many things can go wrong..but the patio @ Cafe Parizade is perfect....the quite, tree lined patio is on the interior of the building, far away from traffic, and features a 20 ft. waterfall that adds to the experience by muting conversations @ nearby tables.. Very good restaurant, with very good food...and a great... More

I’ve been to Parizade restaurant in the past for lunch with friends and large groups, but also had a marvelous dinner last week. We were celebrating a special occasion, so the Saturday night crowd and noise added to the excitement. Parizade’s décor is festive, although I’ve never quite figured it out. Somewhat Roman design with scattered large red columns, and... More
